Great USA made cane
It's a sturdy thirty-seven inch wood cane with a nice finish. Cut it to fit your height. It's lighter than I expected and comfortable to walk with. I prefer this traditional style over modern metal canes. This should last a couple of lifetimes. Made in the USA!

Good, Solid Cane
I preface my review with this: I rate it 5 stars but in that 5 star, I consider the price as a factor. Is this as good as and in the same league as my much more expensive canes? No, but I paid less than 1/2 of my next most expensive one, so that is a factor in my review. The Brazos Handcrafted wood cane 37" is a good, strong and sturdy cane, with good weight and a solid feel. The color is not red oak but more of a walnut. I thought perhaps I was sent the wrong cane but the 2 stickers on it both said Red Oak...It is brown, like walnut, but I really don't mind. Just not the color pictured in the site. The finish is not as smooth and refined as my much more expensive canes, but it is more rustic, and has a slight ( very slight) rough feel to it. Now, the actual feel while using: very well built, no warp or wobble. The curved handle is substantial, but very comfortable. My usual size for a cane is 34 inches but this is 37 inches. I am leaving it this height since the 'crook' style handle is very comfortable no matter the length. I am overall very pleased with it, and considering it is less than half the cost of my next most expensive cane, it was well worth the money, and will probably outlive me. A good coating of wax was all that was needed to bring the finish to life. If I ever lost this one, I would most definitely get another. For the record I am 5'9" 165 lbs, and the 37" although perhaps a bit too long for me based on cane sizing charts,, feels good in hand. Not only does it help with mobility, there is no doubt one could use this in a self defense capacity should the need to take care if some 'social issues' arise.

Great Cane!
Love this cane! One thing however, I had to cut down the length a bit. If you do this, make sure you have some 1 inch tips on hand. They taper the end, and put a 3/4 inch tip on. You can’t get the supplied tip back on once you cut it. Good thing I had some 1 inch tips. Other than that, this cane is great, looks nice, not heavy, yet still strong. Highly recommend it. I don’t understand why this is $90 on the company website, but only $40 on Amazon. Are we getting 2nd’s or returns? Regardless, well worth it.

Awesome cane
Love this cane! It’s beautiful and functional. Much better than the cheap cane I bought at the VA. Comfortable and lightweight.

Very good cane but not perfect
Update I have had this cane for a while now and the finish is not holding up well. I also have a bit of an issue that may not actually be the fault of the cane, but which you might want to consider before purchasing this case. I need a cane with me to help me transfer into or out of the wheelchair There is a holder on my wheelchair to hold the cane, but it does not seem to hold it properly due to the size of the cane. The cane has slipped out of the holder a couple times and has caused me some problems, including damage to the wheelchair. I am now being told that I should use one of those aluminum canes Although the VA wheelchair clinic cannot explain why the cane keep flipping out of the holder Just be aware that there might be a problem involving the design of some of the holders for the canes, depending on the design of your wheelchair. I am very impressed on how strong this came is since the cane was not damaged at all when it slipped out of the holder I had a bit of a problem with the order in that you order did not arrive as it normally would and was showing as delivered, but I did not have it yet since I needed the cane urgently I ordered a second one so now I have two I did not return either one since these are very good canes and our difficult to find for a man my height I would also prefer that the length would be a bit longer since I use the cane primarily to transfer from my car to a wheelchair The cane is otherwise close to perfect, but not quite. I can live with it the way it is and it certainly works. The finish leaves a little to be desired, but is more than adequate. The cane appears to be very strong, but that waits to be proven over the next few years. Most of the other canes, I looked at are too short and these canes from Brazo’s look like the best available for daily use I do not like the aluminum canes the VA provides for me since I believe they cause many of the falls and strongly recommend a heavy cane even though they do weigh a bit more. This is just my opinion, but I have used a cane for many years and then used a walking staff For a few more years and I think these canes from Brazos are as good as you can find at the price They are a bit pricey, compared to some of the medical canes listed, but they are not bad compared to the “fancier canes“

Best hardwood cane for the price you can find!
I recently acquired this cane due to medical needs, and I couldn't be more impressed. It's constructed from solid, durable hardwood, which gives it a sturdy, reliable feel. The ability to adjust the height by cutting the wood yourself is a fantastic feature, ensuring a perfect fit for anyone. This cane offers excellent balance and traction, thanks to its high-quality rubber tip. I wholeheartedly recommend it to anyone in need of a cane, whether for short-term or long-term use. Plus, the price is exceptionally reasonable for the quality you receive.
