The camera is very useful for tarketting the exact location for distance verification. Battery lasts longer. As it has laser light strongly recommended to keep away from chidrens.

Replaced my old manual Bosch laser. I was going to buy a Hilti with an optical rangefinder thing to match a colleague but found this. Side by side the Bosch is slicker; colour display and a side button. The Hilti goes further but I'll never need the kind of range either offers. And they measure accurately side-by-side over the tested 30m. Incidentally Hilti's service department is interesting; ostensibly helpful and quick to respond but they run for the hills when things get even vaguely non-standard. And spare part pricing is absolutely ludicrous. Bosch I don't know about. Enjoy.

We’ve had one of these for a couple of months now, and we’ve purchased another one for our junior team member. As surveyors we use this for several hours every day. Our failed Leica unit (after seven years) needed replacing and we were looking for a cheaper alternative. These are a fairly chunky unit, but that translates into a great screen, extremely clear, very fast boot up time and the 3 x AA batteries give around 2 weeks with constant usage during the working week. Does more than we need it to, I haven’t tried the pairing software, but the dual triggers for taking measurements are useful. The integrated camera is the clincher for us as it makes doing outside dimensions on sunny days easy. It’s definitely on par with the Leica units, and far superior to the cheaper Milesey units be use as backups. Only grumble I could possible put forward is that if you have small hands then it may feel a bit chunky, but for most site gorillas it’s absolutely spot on, and the side trigger means it’s easy to use with gloves.

I used a BOSCH GLM 150 Pro, which expired in active service (2013-2023) *RIP* I now humbly return for this BOSCH 150-27 C distance measure after 2yrs+. I can confidently state that Bosch is the BOSS in digital distance measure. I used Dewalt 50M distance measure for 2yrs & 3mth. It's APP connectivity is cool but it's UX is poor; cumbersome, responds slow and it has a brittle stop-pin.

Excellent laser measurement, the only regret is no P2P distance measurement which is the crucial feature I really expected for a laser measure with this price tag. Perhaps unlike Leica, Bosch is not an expert in the geosystem area, that's the requirement for making a laser measure with a P2P measurement feature.

So much better than the basic standard measure, being able to survey with the App makes this a much better value product.

I can confidently say: Bosch is the BOSS in digital distance measure. I have used Dewalt 50M distance measure for 2years and 3months till now. The Dewalt app connectivity is cool but its UX is poor: cumbersome navigation, slow response and brittle stop pin.

Sou arquiteta e sempre tive problemas para medições abaixo de sol, nunca ficava preciso ou falhava. Com essa trena consigo fazer as medições muito mais rápido e até 100 metros. O app ajuda muito, enquanto eu meço, consigo atualizar pelo desenho do app e no final já tenho a planta baixa e ate mesmo o 3d do local. Com certeza foi um dos melhores investimentos desse ano, e valeu cada centavo.
