Looks great
Looks great, seems strong and well made. I can't ask for anything more.

Very easy to put together, seems strong, does shake, but probably not an issue
I was a bit concerned at first that this was going to be too unstable as it does move a bit, side to side, after putting it together, less so once bottles are on it, but I don't think that is going to be an issue. Its sturdy, the parts lock in to each other well enough that I don't think it will come apart, and I liked it so much that I bought a second set to stack on top, and even at that height it is pretty stable. I like that its made from bamboo, and the pieces are pretty thick (at least the end pieces, the cross bars are a bit thinner) so I think it will be durable enough. The one drawback is that once put together, it is not easy to move since the parts are not screwed together. You can empty it and slide it or pick it up from the very bottom, possibly in smaller sections, but just a bit inconvenient, so build it where you want it! Overall i really like this rack!

Nice Rack, except for Larger Diameter Bottles
I have found that Champagne, some Chardonnay and other bottles with a larger diameter and a gradual slope to the neck have fit problems in this rack. You cannot place the wider bottles side by side in the rack and have to space them with smaller diameter bottles, usually forcing you to mix types on a rack. The radius of the bottle cuts in the back rack are also too small for these bottles, this causes the back of the bottle to ride up so that the bottle is sloping to the front. I've had a couple of bottle slide forward so that the base fell into the bottles below. I would imagine that, in something like a mild earthquake, these bottles will move forward and drop out of the back rack. I am putting most of the larger bottles in the bottom rack and have put a board underneath the back in case they slide forward and fall. Thinking about increasing the radius of the cuts in one or two of the back racks to try to get the bottles to sit in the bottom of the cut. I did not recognize this problem until I put a partial case of wider Chardonnay bottles in the rack and found I had to spread them around!

In case you're wondering, it does not work with lambics
At the risk of ending up in hazebois...If you're like me, you are probably looking for a reasonably priced option to stack your either growing or robust lambic and corked beer collection. This is not it.At $38 during Prime days, it was worth a gamble. Arrived fast and in reasonably good packaging. All items inside the box were intact and brief instructions were provided. However, the setup of this bottle shelf is fairly self explanatory. 8 side walls/joints, 4 neck racks, 4 bottom racks. I grabbed a rubber mallet but it was generally useless. Immediately upon looking at the product, I could tell that they would likely not fit the bottles.Unfettered, I plowed on building on little but hope. The first problem I noticed once I was done was that the space in between shelves is barely enough to fit any 750cc bottle. Secondly, the bottle bottoms simply do not fit. I tried both American and European bottles, and the result was generally similar. American bottles did fit slightly better? They eventually start to wedge against each other and you run out of space before using all the slots. They feel generally unstable, not a feeling you like with your prized bottles. Lastly, the whole structure wobbles slightly. I thought this would improve as you put bottles on it, but it didn't. Granted, this might have been exacerbated by my bottles not fitting properly. The shelves themselves are made of quality wood and have a nice glossy finish. Overall, it seems like a decent product for wine storage, but I don't have any wines to test it. Deducting stars due to perceived instability. Would recommend if I could evaluate it with appropriately sized bottles.

useful but flawed
I bought two of these, both the 36 and the 72 bottle sizes, and think that they're useful but flawed designs. Pros include the bamboo materials used, as bamboo is a sustainable, natural resource that is suitable for the purpose of making wine racks, and the cost, which is reasonable given the many alternatives. They also look pretty good and fit into many spaces. However, there are two glaring flaws that the manufacturer could easily have avoided:1. the packaging used is of very low quality and when the purchaser unwraps the pieces the styrofoam panels break into many hundreds of tiny pieces, which result in a rather serious mess that must now be cleaned up. In fact, when my second unit arrived I unwrapped it with my vacuum cleaner on standby, that's how many tiny fragments the consumer must deal with when unwrapping them from the original packaging.2. the grooves for the bases of the bottles are too small to accept Chardonnay or Pinot Noir bottles (see associated photo showing 2 bottles that fit, and 2 that do not). And this means that some wine bottles will nest as expected while others will not, and will sit on top of the grooves rather than safely inside of them. It also means that some bottles slide in and out of the rack with ease, while others barely clear the rail above and removing these from the rack can be a bit tricky. These errors could, and should, have been avoided.Assembly is easy and takes mere minutes except for the associated clean-up that is a function of the poor quality packaging used and the many hundreds of styrofoam fragments that make quite a mess. These racks had potential, they could have very adequately met the needs of wine lovers the world over, while being built of attractive, sustainable materials, but because of the packaging and the design flaws, they are troublesome and less than they could have been.An opportunity missed.
