Seems to be great...! 👍😁👍
So this is my 1st grow tent so I can't speak to features that other brands have. Or what a professional grow tent is supposed to look like. But It check marks all my needs that this diy home gardener needed to grow vegetable seedlings and a handful of tomato plants indoors year round. The material seems thick and durable, I've had zero pin hole leaks through the material or zipper. I verified this with a complete black room with the grow light on "mars 4x4 grow light" and zipper closed. Has a viewing window. Velcro seems durable. It has a removable waterproof lining for the bottom. Easy to read instructions and easily built with a single person. Zipper is durable I haven't had any issues of it struggling to zip up or down. Zipper has a flap to prevent light leaks. And the door has strap attached to the inside to attach to the outside side of the tent to hold it open. Plenty of ports to run wires and exhaust. Different size exhaust ports as well. The ports have double pull string openings. Generates good negative pressure. When sealed and with exhaust system on you can visually see the sides of the tent suck and bow inward from the suction. Over head support beams are sturdy that hold the light. The tent itself is not wobbly but very rigid. The only cons I would say is that is the viewing window is mesh not plastic film. The air circulation ports on the bottom as well as the viewing window require some extra work to get them to seal completely without leaks because they Velcro on. I personally don't use the bottom covers as I try to keep it in the low 70⁰F's for my plants. But if you don't get the seal flush it crinkles and light leaks from the uneven sealing surface. It helps to have a second person put outward pressure from the inside when you attach it to get it flush. For this exact reason I don't use the viewing window but I'd rather just unzip the door and look in. I rather not mess around for 5min getting the Velcro reseal just because I wanted to see my plants. A 30sec unzip and re zip is more convenient for me. But I dont regret the purchase and I'm now a Spider Farm fan. I will definitely be buying again from this company, hopefully soon!

Bigger than other 2x4 tents, more room for activities!!
I bought this tent because its bigger and taller (28" x 55" x 80") than other 2' x 4' tents. It does not disappoint. There is plenty of head room for a light and inline fan and plenty of floor space for my 3, 5gallon fabric pots with a lot of room to spare as seen in the pictures. The cover fabric is thick and high quality. The seams are well stitched and the zippers are strong an sturdy. There are zero light leaks when fully assembled and all holes are closed. There are plenty of ventilation and utility holes and they are mirrored on both sides of the tent. So your not stuck setting things up one way only. Assembly was easy even for a 1st timer like me with average assembly skills. Assemble the frame, lay it down, unzip the cover completely, lay the cover over the tent, place the corners of the cover over the corners of the frame, zip up the cover completely, orientate the tent so the Spider Farmer logo is on the upper right of the tent and unzip. Easy. *Side Note* This assembly can be done solo but an extra pair of hands when placing the cover and standing up the tent won't hurt. Cons: As great as this tent is and it is great 5 stars for the $$$ and quality, there are some issues. 1. This tent is BIG, if you are planning space for a '2x4' tent this isn't the one you want, as stated before its bigger than 2'x4' and taller than others that I have seen so be aware or have the space before purchasing. 2. I wish there was a better way to secure the door of the cover when its unzipped. There are straps at the top of the tent on the outside and on the door of the tent on the inside and its a bit janky trying to secure the door when its open All that aside this is an amazing tent. 5 out of 5. If you purchase it you will not be disappointed. Great Quality, Easy Assembly, Bigger than other 2x4 tents

Seems well designed
I wanted the somewhat odd shape of 55x28x80. Rather, my available space and love of tall strains dictated this size. SF is the only one making this size, from my search. So that's a plus. I am very happy with this purchase, although there are cheaper alternatives by almost half. I think it is good quality, and if it lasts as l believe it will, all the better. I'm a tool guy. This went together in a jif though most people would probably want another helper for putting the tent into the frame, especially if they happen to be stoned... l found that the parts fit properly, were the correct size and undamaged. Despite the looseness of the frame (see Pro Tip below), the fabric enclosure fits like OJ's glove - l mean it is tight! Such a clean fit though, it actually adds structural support to the frame from the tension on all corners. Despite this, the door zipper works smoothly and does not bind throughout its entire run (indicating the fabric fits literall perfectly). This tent will NOT leak light unless you WANT it to. Time will tell if it holds up but the attention to detail like the full reflective bottom (same lined fabric) tray with velcro tie downs fastening it to the frame, the anti abrasion inserts on the corner pieces just where they touch the fabric, all-metal frame materials, makes it seem to be high quality and a good value. The fabric is heavyduty canvas obviously, bonded to the hammered-finish mylar. There are many duct and vent openings, all seal well. Lower side vents, rear vent, and front viewing port are screened and add airflow. Their velcro-attached covers grab aggressively and stay put. Ther are three moveable support bars for hanging lights and filter assemblies - one spanning the 55" width and two spanning the 28" depth. It claims to supports 140lbs. I wouldn't test THAT claim, but it will clearly support what you need to grow plants. And all closed up, at a glance it could easily be mistaken for a bureau or a big cabinet of some sort. Pro Tip: a wrap of black electricians tape above and 2 below the locking button on all male ends, will increase rigidity significantly. You have to muscle the joints together over the tape, but if you won't be collapsing the tent frequently, the effort is worth it. In the pics, note that this tent is all of its 80' tall., and is nealy as tall as my interior doors.

Wonderfull Grow Tent
I purchased this grow tent in September 2025, and it has proven to be one of my most valuable purchases to date. After comparing various brands, I was particularly drawn to this one based on the positive reviews, which suggested superior quality materials compared to others. I can personally attest to the excellent quality of the material. Notably, there are no light leaks through the zipper, which is an added advantage. I had been dissatisfied with the brightness of my grow lights, which would illuminate my entire dining room. This tent has resolved that issue. Furthermore, the temperature inside my grow tent is consistently 80 degrees, while the room temperature remains at 70 degrees. This indicates that the tent effectively insulates the space, retaining the heat generated by the grow lights as long as they are on. I've grown so many things in this tent already, it's like its own microclimate.

Overall Nice Design
What really sells me on this is the dimensions. It is the only one I found close to a 2x4 with this height. I actually do not mind that this is more of a 2.5x4.5 with that extra height. I have another grow tent that is 2x4 but is maybe 2/3 the height. SO the dimensions were really important to me. Overall the quality seems really nice, the materials are decent. I like the window to look in. More importantly the seams and such attaching the materials seem well done. To compare, the materials on my other tent I think are a slightly higher quality and durability. HOWEVER, on the last tent the seams and sewing of the material seemed less thorough. That means it does not matter the quality of the material if the seams are just going to split and the threads break. For example the last tent only sewed the velcro on the ends not along the entire length. This Spider tent seems to have been sewn nicely compared to my last one, despite the last one having slightly better material. None of that is to say that this tent is low quality material. It still seems very durable. Now the only minor complaints I have are more about the design of the door. A lot of Tents kind of use this U door design. The problem is when you open it there is nothing to clip the door and it is difficult to roll (especially with the window). My lest tent had a double door and actually had an inner clear plastic door and an outer heavy material door with the reflective on the inside. So you could open the right or left side door. That was actually a nice design. That being said most tents have doors like this, so there really is no complaint, just maybe Spider Farm might consider a new door design for this size tent. The poles and connectors on this I liked much better than my old tent. very sturdy. I am very happy with Spider Farm and I would recommend.

Buy it, now!
I’m actually extremely surprised this tent doesn’t have any reviews yet! Usually I am hesitant to purchase items that don’t have any reviews but, the Spider Farmer brand speaks for itself. It was a no brainer. We just upgraded to this 4x4 tent from a 2.5x2.5 tent and WOW this thing is big. I went with Spider Farmer because we have two of their grow lights and we LOVE them. We started with the sf2000 and decided to up our game and go with the sf4000 which arrived earlier this week. Once we received the 4000 we knew we had to get a bigger tent to use it’s full potential. This tent is extremely well built. I like that it takes a little muscle to get the poles together because knowing it’s not loose at all means it is extra sturdy! It comes with 3 top support bars which is a total plus. Our smaller tent only came with two which makes it difficult when you are trying to hang lights, fans, filters, etc. Having that extra bar makes a huge difference and you are able to utilize your space more wisely! Also a plus, the ports for cords. No more trying to shove a bunch of cords in different ducting ports. The reflective material in this tent is also top quality, you can tell just by feeling it. There is not a single light leak in this tent. Seriously if you’re looking for a large tent for your plants, don’t sleep on this tent. Anything with the Spider Farmer name on it is worth the price tag. And no, I am not being paid to write this review, I’m just really enthusiastic because I love this brand! Our plants are THRIVING under their lights and now that we have a bigger tent we can plant more! Don’t hesitate, just buy it!

Great quality
Sturdy construction well worth the extra money to pay for quality. Ive had the inexpensive brands and thought I was getting a deal but always regretted it because they couldn't hold the weight and or humidity. Rust and breaking so this one is the best I've purchased!

Damaged malformed supporting skeleton.
This is the coolest, best quality item one might expect for the price. Excellent durable zippers ( (nearly perfect, might not survive 5000 unzippings. Ingenious design. A delight EXCEPT between two tents I bought five badly bent end pieces which are where one cross piece attaches to the other by fitting the machine stamped curved end piece onto the crossing piece. They slop around, and as that rod supports the fairly heavy LED light fixture, it is a little worrisom. However, the , it has not been a problem yet as far as strength, but the lights do move around on the "yo yo" system when I bump into them when caring for plants. They were only able to replace by replacing an entire tent, which they really really did not want to do sent a $10.00 credit, whcih did not solve the problem. I think they could have a suppply of parts, if the product design does not change to fast. I like it but...
