want the best saw blades? here you go.
Purchased via Amazon 02/2016After purchasing our first home and slowly building up the tool collection one item that got added to our tool Arsenal was a Dewalt 18V Cordless reciprocating saw. after doing my research on if there were any saw blades for it that were considered "the best" I learned about these Milwaukee Saw blades reading up online and it was a no-brainer to try them out!Purchased our 12 piece kit here on Amazon which includes 3 types of saw blades two of which come in two lengths. which are stored in a small but functional plastic case with a small sliding lock to keep it shut even when shifting around in a bag or truck.a brief note on each:Axe Blades (Three 9" blades and Two 6" blades included)If not obvious these blades are made for ripping through wood, and I do mean ripping through them! I have accidentally cut through nails multiple times with this blade and other than wearing the paint off most of these they look no worse for the wear on functionality. I have been incredibly impressed with how long these blades are holding up after repeated abuse.Torch Blades (Three 9" blades and Two 6" blades included)Metal cutting blades, haven't used these for anything yet but like the rest they feel so much beefier and thick than most other blades we looked at.Wrecker Blade (two 6" blades included)These are going to be your general purpose rough and tumble general demolition blade that is made to handle applications where you may run into metal and wood and don't want to switch the blades out each time.overall I am very impressed with these blades that I had high hopes for after reading up on them - they feel, look and perform like well made tools should - I will not be using anything else on our reciprocating saw anytime soon (because they will probably still be going strong!)

Great value @ $25, but not the Milwaukee Torch I've bought before
Take this review with a grain of salt, all conditions may not be equal in my comparisons (in general, my sawzall at home is running at a higher rpm than what we use at work - both Milwaukees, different models - which I started to think about as I was concluding this review, and decided to bump stars back up to 4).I've spent 4 years in the construction business and have many hours under my belt working with sawzalls, an indispensable tool for remodeling projects. At work, we usually use cheaper blades because it's more cost effective to change out worn blades than buy expensive blades which might get lost in an attic or a secluded crawlspace while it still has most of its life left in it - or risk employees stealing them, I'm not entirely sure why.At home, I pay more for the expensive blades. I have not yet used the wood blades, but I have already burned through 2 of the 6" Torch blades cutting through a total of about 1-1.5" of steel each. These are comparable to the cheaper blades my boss buys.... but still a good value, not the steal I thought I was getting.A few years ago I bought a 5 pack of 9" Milwaukee Torch blades for around $25 from Home Depot... if they're the same, this is it: [...] - Well worth it. These blades cut through many feet worth of old steel radiator pipe, cast, steel 5/8" rebar, without a sweat. These are made of superior metal, the best indication of which is the lack of discoloration when hot from a heavy work load (the blades I'm reviewing were discolored after maybe 20 seconds of use). These are NOT the same as the "Super Sawzall Torch" blades I bought from Home Depot - the blades themselves or the packaging bear no indication of any difference. Maybe I should have paid attention to the keyword "super." I take 2 points off for that reason, I'd have preferred to pay for quality over quantity. I love Milwaukee tools because they take a beating like no other; wish I could say the same about their tool accessories (and their newer 4v lithium ion portable screwdrivers - the electrician's best friend. My coworker and I prefer the older nicads, for several reasons... but that's another review.....)

⭐ 5 Stars⭐ │Great! │ Case Included │ Blade Set - Wood, Metal & Metal + Wood
The media could not be loaded. Great - blades are thick and last longer than other brands I have used. This had all the blade types I needed - Wood, Metal & Wood+Metal.MEMORIZE the tooth size/look for different blades because the type marking (Wood, Metal etc.) wears offI have used these to cut a metal post, cut up a deck into piece for disposal, cut through bolts, trim small branches and the list goes on.PROS✅ Case Included!✅ Thick Blades✅ Variety of Blades - covers all the bases✅ Long Lasting Blades - better than other brands I have usedCONSNone!TIPS💡 MEMORIZE the tooth size/look for different blades because the type marking (Wood, Metal etc) wears off💡 Cleaning - wipe down blades after use (Prevents rust)
