Presoaking is purified water is helpful.
These seeds performed perfectly and as expected! I followed the directions and presoaked the seeds. Just a couple of days of soaking in filtered water, and the germination process started. Moved to potting soil mix and had shoots within a few days. I was then able to transplant them to my prepared row. This was harder than I thought and I added presoaked seeds to the row as well. I’m sure it’s difficult to rely on reviews, when the buyers need to cultivate and grow plants from seed. However, I had no issues and nearly every seed sprouted. Looking forward to my new seasonal privacy fence.

Maybe needs lots of water or partial shade?
I planted these in Florida in zone 9 at the beginning of the summer and even with the rain, the Heat seemed to hurt them and they did not grow well. Maybe I needed to give them a lot of water. I'm going to try again this spring with some other seeds that I have, but I didn't really get great results from the ones that I've already planted so now high hopes.

Fast Shipping, Anticipating Growth - USA-Made Elephant Grass Seeds
The Elephant Grass Seeds - Tallest Grass in The World - that I ordered were shipped promptly from Iowa, USA, and I was pleased with the fast delivery. The seeds arrived in good condition, ready for planting. As elephant grass is known for being the tallest grass in the world, I am excited to see how these seeds will grow. However, since it takes time for plants to mature, I am unable to comment on the quality of the seeds at this moment. I understand that assessing the quality of the grass will require patience and observation as it develops. The fact that these seeds are made in the USA is a bonus for me, as I appreciate supporting local products. Overall, my experience with the purchase and shipping process has been positive, and I am eagerly anticipating the growth of the elephant grass. I look forward to seeing the results and updating my review accordingly.

Almost all sprouted for me.
Shipped quick, I put some water in the little seed bag over night. The next day i removed and wrapped them in a wet paper towel stored in warm place and then next day nearly all of them sprouted. I would buy again.

80% Germination Replanted in 5 Days
I saw the reviews about poor germination. The pictures show a bag of "1000" seeds, I haven't counted them. I planted 12 seeds in my grow light. In 2 days, I had new growth. Days 3 and 4 show great growth. I count 10 stalks from 12 seeds. I have moved the peat tubes to outside large pots to make a hedge. The second batch of 12 seeds are showing growth on Tuesday from a Sunday planting. I hope they are user friendly as there are no elephants to eat them in Florida.

Don't do well once they sprout.
I let them soak for 24 hours and they went to bud. But didn't do well when transplanted. They died even though I watered them every day for 2 weeks. I then put them in cups and watered them a couple times a day. Cups had holes in the bottom so extra water drained. Let them grow to about 6+ inches tall before I transplanted them. Again, they died in just a few days. I'm waiting for the heat to die down here in south MS before I just put them in the ground and see if that works any better.
