Words just cannot explain how healing this type of therapy is!! I started with the lower back wrap for my husband and ended up using it for my own upper/ mid back pain but because of its size I had to keep moving it around so I bought the large pad for myself and my back pain just dissappears. I literally sit on it every night when I settle into my favorite chair. I find it helps with chest colds and coughs...Ive used it for knee pain...pain just disappears when I use it for a few hours. Its truly amazing and I can't believe that I never heard of this type of therapy. Every doctors office should promote their use! The stones are IMPORTANT. I tried another brand that had a style I liked but it lacked the stones and it was no different that your general heating pad that can be purchased at a pharmacy....that one went back to the seller. The large flat pad is great for laying on, wrapping around knees (although if I had a chronic knee problem I would definitely purchase the one designed for the knee). While they are somewhat flexible they aren't super flexible because of the nature of the product and the stones. Hence I purchased the one designed specifically for the neck because I feel it helps beat colds and flu bugs that start in the throat and glands. I wish there was one designed to cover the neck, shoulder and entire upper and mid back and chest! The heat from this is DEEP and soothing. Shoot, I turn it on even when I don't have any pain just because it is so freakishly comforting! When I have a cold I take it to bed with me and either lay on top of it or place it on my chest for a cough. I swear I get better significantly faster and my cough is totally diminished! My honest opinion is that these pads are miraculously healing for everything that ails! I use the large one every single day and sometimes more than once a day...just when ever I sit down it goes on. They are very well designed and made with very high quality materials. These pads are STURDY!

This pad is amazing. I have had a couple of Therasage jade heating pads for over 6 years, and they were starting to wear out, so I decided to replace the medium size with this UTK pad with tourmaline. This pad is larger than the medium Therasage, and has the added benefit of the tourmaline stones. This pad heats quickly, the heat is evenly distributed throughout, and it seems to be gentler in the source of heat but also seems to penetrate more deeply/thoroughly than the Therasage pad does. I really like the control dial, and that I can choose the exact temperature and amount of time; it is very easy to use, even in the dark in the middle of the night. My husband uses this for chronic neck and back pain at higher temperature settings, and experiences temporary reduction in symptoms. I am using this pad to boost my immune function with long sessions of 4-6 hours overnight at a lower heat setting. After just about 3 weeks (usage 4-6 nights a week), I am already seeing positive results. My asthmatic kitty is also doing treatments (by choice, she is drawn to the pad anytime we turn it on, and she will take any opportunity to steal a spot on it if we get up for a bathroom or water break). In the three weeks since we received the pad, I have noted an improvement in the kitty's asthma attacks; additionally her weight has reduced and she seems healthier than in the entire past year. Overall, this is a wonderful pad for the price, and I feel comparable or even superior to the Therasage pad of the similar size.

This large heating mat is big enough to fit most people from shoulder to bum. It has a digital controller that adjusts up to 155 f. Once heated up, the large mat heats your entire body up quickly, while focusing on the contact points you’re laying on. You can roll to your side, or sit up on it to get your legs. We love tossing it over the couch or a chair, to create your own relaxing, heated seats. The kids like it on cold days, when getting ready for school,.. they can sit down on it to heat up, before hopping in a cold car. The older kids appreciate it for cramps, pulled muscles and digestive help, too. The only two cons we see: 1. It takes about 10 full minutes to come up to temp. 2. The power connection isn’t as flat as the mat. So it sticks out a little, which means you can’t sit on it comfortably,.. and it’s easy to knock out of place. That said, as long as you position the connector away from you, it’s not a problem. The power connection is also located in the 4” margin of the pad, so it doesn’t interfere with the stones contacting your back. Though heating faster is preferred on cold nights,.. once it does heat up, it’s worth the wait. Especially for folks with stiff backs or sports injuries,.. it’s nice to be able to get the quality of heat, you’d expect from a full hot water soak,.. without having to get in the tub. If your looking for a full size heating pad, this one is great. We use it just about every other day, when we’re not using it, everyday. The timer helps to conserve energy if you fall asleep with it on, and the volume of heat you get from it, means you don’t want to go more than an hour anyway. This is a solid heat mat, and so far, with near daily use,.. everything has held up well. The electrical cords are pretty heavy duty, with a decent amount of insulation, so it looks like it will last. The netting that holds the stones in place has held up well, even with the dogs hopping on it occasionally.
