Update 4/28/2024: YSChoice reached out and their customer service was SO AMAZING, they made right on the situation right away and provided solutions that kept my home BUG FREE, i am super happy with the replacement and it's been running strong since i got it, both manually and deployed as a tripod this thing will help you with that flying pest problems of spring/summer. It makes me feel confident that the product is backed by their company and performs so well. --- I purchased this Ys Choice Zapper because i recently moved to an area close to a lake and i had a gap under my door that was fixed today that was letting both mosquitoes and fruit flies and gnats in. Despite the door gap has been taken care of some flies and mosquitoes remained inside the apartment and the zapper was doing its job until probably yesterday, i would constantly hear the zaps and felt satisfaction watching the area around the zapper populated by dead flying insects as i felt confident that the pests inside would be completely exterminated soon. It worked great, i could hear the zaps every 5-10 minutes and using it manually following the manufacturer techniques was quick and efficient. The tripod setup is great, the only thing aside from the obvious durability issue was that i wish that i had been USB-C, but nothing is perfect. However after 5-6 days, i stopped hearing the zaps, i thought that maybe the bugs were over but i saw a couple of flies and gnats, not close to as many as i had before, but some, gave them some more time until i decided to put the zapper in manual mode and try to hit the flies at least, i had improved my technique as shown in the videos following the QR code and worked flawlessly before. Then i KNEW i was hitting the fly but it wasn't dying, to the point it got momentarily trapped inside the mesh but it didn't zap it, then i knew the zapper was dead. The "UV" lights up, the "Electrified" red round light lights up, but i put fresh bait on it and i literally saw insects flying and standing on the inside mesh, the zapper is not energized, tried turning it off leaving it alone for a while with no success. I liked it so much that i had no plans on returning it so i threw away all the packaging and i cannot return it, i might have gotten a lemon, i am going to reach out to YSChoice to see if they can warranty it because i really love it.

We think that the YsChois Bug Zapper Racket works best as a portable, stationary bug light zapper, not as a bug zapper racket that you swing. There are some bug zappers that have thin handles that are easy to grasp and easy to swing at biting insects - this bug zapper racket is not one of them. Where the YsChois racket excels, is in putting the bug zapper's light on so it stays on with the zapper racket energized (the bug zapper has a built-in ultraviolet "bug attracting" light), and then spreading the legs built into the handle, and placing the bug light on its spread feet in a location where biting or annoying bugs are present, making it a portable, stationary bug light, and it works quite well in this capacity. Bugs are attracted to the ultraviolet light and the energized zapper racket gives them a jolt they won't forget. Now, it is true that the YsChois can be used as a swatting bug zapper, but the handle is a bit too thick and the "on" button to energize the zapper is located a little too high on the handle making it somewhat awkward to hold and easily swing. If there is a dire need, this bug zapper can perform both types of service (stationary and swinging) but considering that this is not an inexpensive "throw-away" bug zapper it will last much longer if not swung around hitting insects and potentially accidentally hitting furniture or some other solid object. Perhaps the preferred way to use the bug zapper when swinging at bugs is to leave the switch in ultraviolet mode so the racket is always powered on and then you don't have to hold down the "on" button on the handle while you swing the zapper at insects. By not having to hold the power button down you can hold the bug zapper much lower on its handle making it far easier to maneuver and swing. This bug zapper has a rechargeable battery that lasts many hours when used as a stationary bug light zapper with the ultraviolet light on constantly attracting bugs. The ultraviolet light on the portable bug zapper is not as bright as those seen on a standard electric bug zapper that plugs into an electrical outlet, but when there is dim ambient light in the evening or at night it puts out enough of a glow to attract insects to its energized bug zapping racket. Turning the bug zapper on and placing it nearby where people are being bothered by biting insects is a good way to keep the biting insects under control. A bug zapper like this would work well also when camping or during other outdoor activities, as long as you had a way to regularly recharge the battery.

These are not a substitute for what is commonly referred to as a "Fly Swatter". If used in that manner they will not last long. The frame is rigid plastic and the first time you hit something hard with it while trying to kill a fly it will break. Having said that, I will say that I love this thing and if and when it no longer works I will be buying another one. The UV lights that are built in do not attract flies! None of the products that claim this ability actually attract anything, but boy does this thing kill bugs!!! It may not get rid of the flies and gnats near you when you putt it on its stand with the power switch on but when you notice any bugs around you a swing or two through the air and you are rewarded with the satisfying sound of fried bugs. SNAP, SNAP, SNAP!!! At least those particular bugs wont be bothering you again. The built in stand is adequate and the rechargeable batteries last for quite a long time. In my case I use it almost daily for about an hour almost every day and I have to charge it every couple of weeks. The killing screen is large enough to make it fairly easy to use and the high voltage area is protected from skin contact fairly well. You can still get zapped by it if you try hard enough and "No" your wife will not think it's funny, but it's not dangerous. Also the geckos love to eat the dead bugs that fall to the ground when you use it and I have to admit I kind of like the smell of burnt flies-mosquitos and gnats that are no longer buzzing around me while I drink my coffee on the porch!

Sinceramente esperaba muy poco, no quería que mi esposo la comprara y ahora la AMO. Es super fácil atrapar moscas y rostizarlas y los mosquitos caen solos. Tenemos poco mas de un año con ella y me encanta, le dura demasiado la batería y el soporte que tiene para dejarla para es muy practico, la primera vez cuesta abrirlo pero no esta defectuoso es solo que si cuesta, ya con el tiempo le agarras el como. Para nosotros ha sido un excelente producto.

Raqueta de muy buena calidad. Si ha funcionado muy bien. Es recargable y eso ayuda mucho.

Es el clásico producto chino de mala calidad. No dura nada. Su enchufe inestable y se apaga a cada rato , lo termine tirando a la basura !!

No los compren !!! No funcionan para nada !!! Los puse a cargar, intenté usarlos con una mosca y NADA … después de 10 min sin uso, ya se había descargado
