Great tool,accuracy weight power

Try to get it on sale as the regular price is a little high. At this price it should come with the rip fence that is hard to find and expensive. Pros are: Powerful Quiet mode is a great feature Excellent battery efficiency for 7 1/4 cordless Cons: No rip fence Price is steep No depth of cut indicator

Metabo has made an excellent product with this one. This was my second metabo power tool. Makes nice, clean cuts. I have cut pressure treated 2x4's with this one and used it for building my shed. It just cuts them like butter. I used the factory blade for pressure treated wood as well. Didn't seem to have an issue. The feature I like best is the one that prevents kickbacks. It stops and blinks when it detects it. Got me to become comfortable with using a circular saw. I still take all safety precautions when using this power tool but this is a great safety feature. I have another saw that does not have this feature and can tell the difference when using this one.

The saw feels just right and is easy to control. I was able to cut 1 3/4" thick LVLs without any issues. Works even with 2Ah 18V batteries.

very satisfied with this song by only complaint is that it didn't come with a rip fence and no one seems to know whether you can purchase one for it or not.
