Power Swerve Pet

I bought this 4 years ago and it has worked perfectly. It is inexpensive for a good working machine. It is not as powerful as a regular or expensive vacuum cleaner, but it does my rugs and carpets very well. It is easy to clean out. I have a small house the size of a 2 bedrm apt. so if you want a battery that lasts for larger than that I am not sure how long the battery lasts as it has never run out on me. It's great to grab and use when you are in a hurry as it is light weight and its always been charged when I go to use it. Twice had to clean out hair from the roller and the suction path as it wasn't working well but once I did that it was back to working great. I am getting ready to buy another one for a friend who lives in a small apartment. I like it very much!

incredible. I went by the reviews solely and bought this. Incredible suction power and very lightweight and easy to use. Fast charging and it really does pick up more than what you can see on imbedded in the carpet. The only thing I wish it had was a light - which the description mentioned there was if I remember correctly, but it doesn't, and the other thing is that it doesn't lay flat so you can sweet under a bed more than a few feet. Other than that, it's nice and I'm glad I purchased it. I think it's priced a bit more than what it should be. I wish it was made a little better, but I guess that is what it contributes to the lightweight-ness. I'm glad I bought it and don't regret it for a minute.

Does everything it says - lightweight, fast recharge and handy to use. The limitation is that this model has a life span of 2 to 2.5 years max before the battery dies. I'm ordering my fourth one today (2024) and have thrown out two that died since 2020. I keep two working at a time so that I have instant accessibility in both areas of my home. Also know that customer service is non existent should you want tor place only the battery. I keep buying this model because of the features I first mentioned. Hard to find anything else which can clean wood, carpet and vinyl; weighs next to nothing and has easy access to empty and wash its cup, filter and roller brush separately.

I have had the unit for about six months as of the time I am writing this review. The plastic that it is made from is VERY brittle. Simply falling over a single time will break parts, even on carpet! Several falls (old people and pets tend to prompt that...) equates to several breaks. Mine has broken in four different places, including the clips that hold the foot onto the handle. It is now held together by duct tape (literally). It does work sufficiently, even well, when in one piece. The charge time is neither great nor bad but enough to do a carpeted stairwell (15 steps) and then a decent bit of hard tile on one charge. This is all I really need it for, so it is sufficient in this respect. It does not have great suction, it is even a bit weak, but the nice brush roll compensates for this. The brush roll is the best part of the machine. It is made of a different material that is much more durable. It is removable so very easy to clean the dog and cat fur out of it. I need to replace it because it is nearly broken beyond my ability to repair and I am running out of duct tape. I also need to purchase a second unit for another location. Neither will be this unit, which is unfortunate because I do like how it cleans both carpet, including stairs, and tile.

I love this little guy. I was about to purchase a dyson stick vacuum for my home when I borrowed a friends vacation home during the pandemic for a few days away. She had a huge vacuum that I didn’t want to drag out daily to clean her hardwood floors from the dirt and sand that came in daily. I bought her one of these and fell in love. It’s so lightweight and easy to use and has powerful suction. It makes cleaning a breeze and anyone can use it. When my friends went back to their vacation home and found it, she said her husband loved it so much, he would do the vacuuming daily !! Best gift ever! Once returning home, I had to buy one for me, and now I want a second one to keep on my second floor. I have dogs that shed and track in so this is a godsend. I do have to clean their hair out of the brush often but you just pop out the brush so easily. The tank holds a lot which I find is a big plus over the Dyson stick vacuum my daughter has. It’s not a vacuum for big jobs or for sucking up big things like leaves, although it can, but they can clog up the intake and reduce the sucking power. The few occasions this has happened, I just take out the brush and use a hook made from wire to unclog. I use this daily in the kitchen and near my doorways where things are tracked in. I would recommend buying extra filters as dust gets trapped in there. I wash them after my daily use so I won’t get that awful dirty vacuum smell. I think this also helps keep the suction power so strong. This stick vacuum runs a long time on one battery charge - long enough that I can do the entire first floor without running out of power. Wish I’d had this when my kids were little! I had a Hoover stick vacuum in those days but it was much larger and cumbersome then this one so we seldom used it. The footprint of this vacuum is small so it can hide anywhere there’s a power source. Also would be great for the older generation or someone with arthritis in their hands since it’s very lightweight and easy to use, empty and clean.

I cant explain how absolutely easy and great this is to use. I have owned a KIRBY (YUCK) and several Sharks but this little sucker puts them to sham for ease of use lightness and suction. The only ( small and not a big deal) downside is you mush empty it and clean the brush frequently ( I have 2 large very hairy dogs) but it is so easy to do it really isn't a deal breaker. I bought 2 more.... one for my 92 year old mother in law and one for my 88 year old dad. They love how it is light weight, cordless and they use it daily for small messes. I would highly reccomend this even as a secondary cleaner. Unlike a swiffer ( which I use to use) there is no additional purchasing for pads. YES!!!

I am changing my original review since I purchased the vacuum in January. It is now May and just today the mechanism that makes the brush spin stopped working. Just all of a sudden. I took the brush out to see if it was the brush, but it’s the actual mechanism that turns the brush that has stopped working. So while the vacuum does still work, I no longer have the brush function. And this is after only light use for quick cleans here in between my deep cleans. The vacuum was only used on laminate floor and never for anything heavy duty. Not only that but there is a serious problem with hair and debris getting stuck in the suction hole inside the head of the vacuum. If the parts were easy to take off it wouldn’t be such a problem but I have to fight every time to get the head off to clean out the stuck hair and debris and it makes a mess everywhere. Add to that the handle of the vacuum doesn’t sit right because of the ridiculous cord they have jammed inside and you have to try to position the cord just right inside the handle to get it to click. Mine has never connected properly. I’d say pass on this vacuum. It’s not worth the money they’re asking for it. I have a $30 stick vacuum that I’ve had for five years and it still works like a charm. It’s corded though, which can be a pain and that’s why I wanted a cordless in the first place. Disappointed and cannot recommend. ********************************************* I have a dog that sheds and I wanted something small and cordless to do quick daily clean-ups to keep the hair under control. This does the job pretty well. I have laminate floors and I still use the brush roller function because I find it doesn’t pick up well without it. The battery life is okay for my living space (I’m in a three bedroom apartment) but it would be very functional for a larger home I don’t think. If you’re looking for something for quick clean ups in between your big clean, this is perfect, but I wouldn’t recommend purchasing as a main vacuum unless you have a really small space.

Works great. Picks up everything off the carpet and floor. I’m very pleased with this one. I had one of these before and got a lot of use out of it. So I was happy to find another one on Amazon.
