Worked Great On My Xbox Series X
I picked this up after having much frustration with my Xbox Series X refusing to play perfectly clean discs. A small number of older games are backwards compatible, but due to licensing issues, the digital versions of those games are unavailable to purchase on the Xbox marketplace. Some of these games have gotten quite rare and valuable as a result. Cue my disappointment when I began to notice several of these games in my collection fail when attempting to load them in the system after having worked flawlessly in the past. The only options seemed to be attempting to have the discs resurfaced, which is horrible if you're a disc collector as it physically harms the disc. The alternate option was to send the Series X in for a laser repair, which costs more than half the price of the console itself. This disc at a fraction of the price was able to gently clean the lens in a matter of minutes. After just one use, games that I thought would never work again were loading up on the first try. For pennies on the dollar, this lens cleaner is a lifesaver.

It May or May Not Solve Your Problems, but is a Good First Try Before Replacing Your Blu-Ray Player
What most people don't realize is that the physical tolerance (i.e., the distance of the Blu-Ray lens to the surface of the inserted Blu-Ray disk) is very, very small. Add to that the fact that Blu-Ray disks are spun at a high RPM level. This means (and it's hard to think of this) that DUST is a natural enemy to Blu-Ray players, and if dust gets onto the lens, skipping, disk misreads, etc. can start occurring. Most of us DO live in dusty environments, and even small dust particles can, over time, play havoc with your player. If you have a Blu-Ray player that is misbehaving, taking it apart for cleaning is not usually a good option due to these tolerances, and that's where this dust remover comes in. This is a Blu-Ray disk with a set of pivoting brushes embedded within the surface. You insert the disk like you would any other Blu-Ray disk, wait for the screen to come up, and then use your remote to follow the instructions for cleaning. It takes only a minute or two, and then you eject the disk. This is a good quality product, constructed well and with easy-to-follow guidance when you insert the disk. But here's the thing. This MAY or MAY NOT solve your problem. That's not because of a deficiency of this disk, but if you have a serious dust build up, particularly if the dust has become "attached" to the Blu-Ray lens (due to high humidity, cooking fumes, etc.), the dust may be resistant to removal. If that is the case, I recommend you run this two or three times to see if the dust will dislodge. Many people report sucess in using this product, others not, but I believe, from my own experience, that is due to the nature of the dust problem, not the product itself. For me, I look at this as an inexpensive way to TRY to clean your Blu-Ray player to get it to operate correctly before you move on to the much more expensive proposition of buying a new player. In addition, even if it can't get stubborn, stuck-on dust removed, and you are forced to purchase a new player, you still have this disk to use for maintenance. (They recommend using it every 15 hours of play, but I'm not sure I would do that; maybe once every two months or so might be good). It's difficult to objectively rate a product if you buy it and your player still doesn't work, because you are tempted to think the product doesn't work. But again, if you think about the different ways dust can become embedded on a Blu-Ray player's lens, it's easier to more objectively look at the product. I would normally give this a five-star rating, but factoring that little thing that it may not always fix all problems, I'll give it a four. Nevertheless, this is a good quality product that you should probably have in your arsenal, or use to try to rescue a Blu-Ray player before replacing it! IMPORTANT NOTE: This disk is for BLU-RAY players, *NOT* DVD players. The tolerances between the lens and the disk are far different between these two technologies, and so you CANNOT and SHOULD NOT place this in a DVD player. If you are looking for DVD cleaners, search on Amazon for those, as there are plenty of them available.

Works but be patient!!
Absolutely worked for me!!!💯 %! My dvd player just totally wouldn’t recognize any dvds that I tried to play. Dvds that I’ve played numerous times before. But it’s been a while with streaming apps and all nowadays! I thought the player was broken and the thought of replacing it was a migraine headache for me because it’s my surround sound system which includes speakers that are installed in a 12 foot ceiling! I would have had to replace the entire system! When I first put the cleaning dvd in the tray, it gave me the same error message. I noticed tho, that each time I opened and closed the tray, the writing on the dvd was in a different spot which told me it was moving. Since it was moving, maybe it will get off any dirt or dust particles on the laser. After 7 times opening then closing, the dvd started playing and giving the instructions on screen ! After I completed all the steps( did not need to adjust anything, just kept going to next test til done), I took the cleaning DVD out, put in my I love Lucy Christmas special dvd in the tray, hit play and it instantly started playing!! Very impressed!! I don’t generally leave these long rambling reviews, but this one was deserved!! I got my player back!!! Yaayyyy!!!!

Didn't help my player.
4k disc player having trouble playing some discs. Thought it could be a dirty lens but this cleaning disc didn't help. Not sure if the disc is doing it's job or the player has a different issue. But I scored this only 3 stars because it takes way, way, way too long to get into the disc's cleaning menu. You are forced to sit through several minutes of tutorials each time you try to run the cleaning program. Poorly thought out. Might be worth trying, not sure how it compares to other cleaning discs.

Lousy cleaning product
Totally ineffective cleaning. But what is most important to this company is the commercials for this companies other products, which you have to watch. Even its commercials don’t play properly after the supposed cleaning. It seems that an actually working product is unnecessary. I wish I could give them a minus score.

Like the title states.. I was having freezing issues when I got the player… threw this in and then played a movie and the freezing was less consistent… I threw it in another time and let the cycle run about a couple of times again so a total of 3 cycles I did and I just played a 4K movie again and it has no freezing. I know the lens sometimes has difficulty reading discs with 4K, when these things are manufactured now who knows what could have gotten on the lens when it was being assembled. Seems ok so far now. I’m much happier than yesterday. I also put this through my ps5 for the hell of it haha
