Nautical 2 Qt Batter Bowl

This is a beautiful ceramic batter bowl. Pour spout and comfortable handle are great details. Fun nautical designs on the outside of the bowl. Great size.

I have decided this Mason Cash Batter Bowl in the Nautical pattern has got to be one of the best looking batter bowls being made today. It looks unbelievable if you see it in person. I absolutely love it. While Mason Cash is a well known company based in England, not all of their pottery is made in England, but some is made in Portugal as well. I am not really sure where this batter bowl was made. But wherever it was made for Mason Cash, it is of stoneware which is labeled as chip resistant according to their tag. The pattern is beautifully embossed and is of sea creatures - fish and crabs, plus seaweed. The top rim of the bowl has a wavy pattern that is supposed to represent ocean waves. The bowl has a pour spout as well as a handle. Because it is of stoneware, this batter bowl should not be considered light in weight, as there are plenty of other batter bowls out there (including glass or melamine plastic) that would be considerably lighter. The bowl has been glazed in a dark navy color with a creamy white interior. It measures 5 inches in height by 7 3/4 of an inch wide measuring across the narrow edge of the bowl, but 10 inches from the tip of the pour spout to the outer edge of the handle. It will comfortably hold around 8 cups of liquid before you are nearing the lower level of the pour spout. (It actually holds closer to 10 cups before it would overflow.) The bowl is marked dishwasher and microwave safe on the tag.

The item is beautiful. But had to request a replacement.. packing was not very good. Very excited to get my replacement.

Don't know why I didn't get this years ago. Very happy. It matches my navy edged plates and my blue and white serving dishes. Fits right in. Beautiful.

Beautifully crafted. Easy to hold and pour. Attractive color. Holds enough sourdough starter for many pancakes or waffles. Love this item. DeeDee Ross

Bought this to match my nautical Mason Cash mixing bowls, which I love. These are super cute in design, but the quality is definitely not like that of my older Mason Cash pieces.

Excellent pouring bowl. Great size.

Bought this for pancakes. Do not want to use too pretty. Use it anyway. Love it.

Extremely happy with this Mason Cash bowl with handle with pouring spout. Use mostly for baking. It’s not the best for pouring though. Needs some help with a spoon to direct and stop flow. I still like it though.
