Grape seed extract does deliver polyphenols that are antioxidants. It should be less expensive because both the seeds and the skins are the residue from winemaking and are not always even useful as animal feed. Be aware that virtually all wine grapes are grown organically, bowing to tradition rather than science. Label claims of "organic", or "non-GMO". or even "gluten-free" means nothing. This brand makes fewer such claims. Organic status IS being reconsidered by the EU because the pesticides that ARE approved for grapevines within the organic label are MORE toxic than synthetics. and are toxic to other than the target pests. They are also less effective, requiring more frequent application, and accumulate in the soil to levels that are toxic to grapes. Copper sulfate is the best example. There have been studies supporting grapeseed extract with some suggestions that it might be senolytic. We are all looking for senolytics and the ones with the best support involve prescription-only drugs prescribed off-label. There are so few options that we should be testing the less expensive ones like grapeseed extract. Think about near-term health. The multi-state intervention study showed NO life extension from grapeseed. curcumin. vitamin E, or carotene. Do not megadose this product. Too many products reputed to be antioxidant, pain-killing, or anti-inflammatory inhibit a body's natural self-defense and repair systems. That was shown for resveratrol, present in grape skin. which is generally pro-oxidant, pro-inflammatory, and pro-aging. As an aside, the same has been shown for EVERY product ever flogged by David Sinclair. Virtually all of the competing grapeseed vendors appear to be selling identical capsules. Why not buy the least expensive one? The exceptions appear to deliver less grapeseed extract, if any, and add some untested/magic Ayurvedic or oriental traditional medicine. That reduces the minimally proven component while raising the price. Run away from those and they might eventually leave the market.

My husband is the one that is using this. He uses it for his blood pressure when it goes high he takes the grapeseed extract and his blood pressure goes back down to normal. This is a very, very good product. In fact, my husband said this is the best one he has ever tried.
