Good quality at an affordable priced.
Good-flavored fish, great to add to lunch boxes, or just have as snacks.

Okay, not great
Matiz has several quality tinned seafoods but these are not the best. Cod doesn't work as well as trout, tuna or salmon for canning.

Who said sardines weren't tasty?????
This is the first brand of sardines that I have ever eaten that taste delicious. Topped over salad greens or put on a cauliflower pizza crust, these are superfood healthy. I initially bought them in a store in the Italian Market in South Philadelphia because I liked the color of the box. Talk about excellent marketing! I likely NEVER would have made sardines a part of my weekly diet until I found these. Highly recommended. As they say, and I'm finding out to be 100% true, you have to shop European brands to get quality food. Well worth the price!

Efficiency and meeting nutrient requirements
Love this product. A little pricey but yummy good and also good for your health. Get your calcium in a can, I love it.

Smells like cat food and tastes like nothing
The absolutely most boring cod I’ve ever tried. Straight up smells like cat food. Everything good about cod is not this. All of the ocean was removed from this cod and what you’re left with is tasteless and oily. What I expected was flavor in a can, but that’s not what this is. It was so bad smelling that I ended up having to eat it outside because my husband said it was turning his stomach.

Cod Fish canned
First, I was surprised that codfish was available in a can like tuna. This is far better. Placed atop a beautiful salad and it's a beautiful meal. You can tell it's cod by looks and taste. No overpowering of salt. Just enough to keep it interesting. Even the olive oil is complimentary. Wish it wasn't so expensive but I splurge, if you can call not wanting to be without it. I'm glad I found it. Thanks
