Hydration Elation
Ordered this a little bit back and finally got to use it on short desert hikes. Really good. Sealed tight, fit in my back and the hose and valves worked great. Water flow is good once you know what you are doing (this was my first water bladder). Comfortable to carry and easy to clean. Once cleaned and rinsed I place something inside to hold it open so it could complete dry. I will likely order a larger one for longer hikes or to fill with wine.

Great for hiking/camping
Used for a camping trip with some trail walking. Purchased two for the kids to have water. Worked great with no issues. Only concern is when cleaning wish they had a better way to dry out the bag for storage. Corners seem to stay wet so just keep paper towels stuffed in it till dry. Can’t hang upside down to dry as the water would just sit in the lip as well. Just something to keep in mind but does not effect performance.

A No Regret Purchase
Own other bladders. They rarely get used anymore. This fairly priced monster absolutely rocks. I have accidentally dropped it, while full, expecting a burst. Nope. Crammed it into my sometimes overstuffed pack with no problems. Someone used my pack as a seat pad and sat on it. This thing is tough. I have had it for years now and it still looks and behaves like new. As a plus, it has never annoyed me. Hang it from S hooks off my baker's rack to easily fill. Huge lid that screws snugly. Never leaks. The bite valve works flawlessly every time. Unplugs easily to quickly clean. I installed a neoprene sleeve over the tube and bought an insulating bag for Winter use. I have nothing bad to say about this bladder.

Reliable, Leak-Free Hydration Bladder That Gets the Job Done Outdoors
This hydration bladder has been a solid piece of gear for outdoor use and performs exactly the way you want a water reservoir to perform when you’re hiking, cycling, camping, or doing any activity where hands-free hydration matters. The first thing that stands out is the leak-proof design. Once filled and sealed, it holds water securely without slow leaks or surprise drips inside your pack. That’s critical, because nothing ruins a trip faster than soaked gear. The seals and connections feel well made, and the hose connection stays tight even when moving around a lot. Material quality is good. The bladder feels durable and flexible without being stiff or brittle. Being BPA-free is important, especially if you’re using it regularly or in warm conditions. There’s no strong plastic taste, which is something cheaper bladders often struggle with. Water stays tasting clean, even after sitting in the pack for a while. The size options are very practical. Whether you choose the 1.5L, 2L, or 3L version, it fits well in most hydration-compatible backpacks. The larger sizes are great for longer hikes or hot days, while the smaller ones work well for shorter outings or lighter packs. The bladder shape distributes weight nicely and doesn’t feel awkward once loaded. The bite valve works well and delivers a steady flow of water without needing to bite hard or suck excessively. It seals properly when not in use, so you’re not dripping water down your shirt or pack. Flow is easy and natural, which makes it more likely you’ll actually stay hydrated instead of avoiding the hassle. Filling and cleaning are straightforward. The opening is wide enough to fill easily from a bottle or faucet, and it’s manageable to clean and dry after use. That’s an important detail for long-term use, especially if you’re using electrolyte mixes or flavored drinks occasionally. This bladder is versatile and works well for hiking, biking, running, and camping. It’s lightweight enough for active use but durable enough to handle being packed, unpacked, and used regularly. It doesn’t feel like a disposable item, and it holds up well with normal outdoor wear and tear. Overall, this is a dependable hydration bladder that focuses on the basics and does them well. Good materials, leak-free performance, easy drinking, and practical sizing make it a strong choice for outdoor activities. If you need a reliable water reservoir that won’t let you down on the trail or ride, this is an easy five-star recommendation.

Customer Service came through wonderfully
I am updating my original review (below) because the company came through in a big way. Even though the timeframe to return the damaged Water Bladder had expired, the company contacted me and offered a new replacement or a full refund. It wasn't very expensive to begin with, so I figured it was lost money, but true to their word, the refunded me the full purchase price. Hey, mistakes happen sometimes in production and I guess I got a defective Water Bladder originally. But it takes concern for the customer to go out of their way and be so proactive about it. So now I am changing my rating to 5 stars because I just don't experience that kind of outstanding customer service too often anymore. I bought this well in advance of a hike on the Appalachian Trail. I took the hike on May 20th after the window to return the item closed. Two hours into the hike, it sprung a leak and was useless. The Bladder came with instructions on how to deal with issues after purchase. I tried calling the number several times and the call immediately disconnects. I'm not sure if that is their problem or mine but I think it is theirs. Don't wast your money on this useless product. Sometimes you purchase something in advance because you don't want to wait until the last minute. I had filled the bag before the hike and did not notice any problems but the first time using it was a disaster.

Premium Quality, Great Features - Note: On/Off valve
I recently purchased this hydration bladder for a camping and hiking trip to Big Bend. I washed and tested it out before the trip and was pretty impressed with the quality of the materials and parts. It also comes with a spare O-ring for the tube connection which is nice. There was no pervasive smell or anything other than the usual new "plastic" smell that was gone after washing. And importantly, no plastic or chemical taste at all - just pure H2O. It fit and worked great in my REI daypack, carries a good amount of water, was easy to fill on-the-go with the big fill hole, had no leaking at all over several days of camping/hiking, and the bite-valve worked perfectly. Stupidly, I didn't realize it had an On/Off valve and couldn't figure out why the water stopped flowing halfway through my first hike. Turns out I had accidentally pushed the valve in and shut off the flow. So I can attest that this feature works :) So yeah, 2 notes I would share: 1) the bite-valve pushes in/out to shut the flow off/on; 2) to empty the tube of water after washing or using, disconnect the tube, hold it upside down with the bite-valve at the bottom, and just squeezed the bite valve to release all the water. Overall, the quality and functionality of this hydration bladder is excellent and feels premium. Worked flawlessly (other than my own human error) on multiple hikes in hot and rugged conditions. When you factor in the low price (I paid $9.97), I would highly recommend this to anyone. PROS: - Premium quality and materials - No smell or taste (after initial washing) - Large hole for easy washing and filling - No leaking - Bite-valve w/ dust cover and On/Off valve - Extras: Spare O-ring - Extras: Included camouflage buff (this actually came in handy on full sun hikes to protect the back of my neck) CONS: - None that I experienced or can think of

Good but one CRITICAL flaw
So, I bought this item for a European pilgrimage I was on this summer where I would have to walk 120KMs in 3 days in the blistering sun. That's precisely what the weather was, about 25-29° celsius (86-91° Fahrenheit). This item was therefore essential as all I had to drink all day was water and bread to eat in the evening. So, it worked, however it has a fatal flaw, which is the little flimsy tiny clip that holds the lid onto the rest of the water bladder. This makes the bladder almost useless because when you're filling it up, either laying it flat to avoid extra air bubbles in it or holding it up straight you eventually have to grab the lid and wind it into place. When you do that and you forget it's connected by one little tiny flimsy piece of plastic, the bladder falls down and water goes all over the floor or ground where you are. It also frustrates you if this happens say in a hotel bathroom floor when you have to then use your only towel to clean it up or in a field where you're camping and have to then go get more water 5 mins away because you just lost half your daily supply in your bladder. Why, O WHY, didn't the supposed smart ppl who designed this item use a STRONGER PIECE OF PLASTIC to secure the lid to the body of the bladder? This isn't rocket science folks. All my friends who had other types of camelbacks and water bladders had far more secure clips. This is honestly a fatal flaw to this item. While I can still use it, I have to remember the clowns who designed it weren't smart enough to design it with a stronger way of securing the lid to the body. I would shop elsewhere, even though this item has great ratings. See the pics attached, I'm not making it up.
