Was very skeptical of buying a trap for flies. When I purchased this there was a lull in fly activity, it was comical, zero flies for several days, didn't even put the trap up...Finally last week decided to put it up, see how it works. First day ONE fly, next day a couple more. Ok, five days later it's like a fly magnet, they fight to get inside, literally half dozen buzzing around the bag. Flies can't resist whatever is inside the trap, bag keeps filllng up.No smell, hung it up on the patio rafter, and I'll sit and watch flies find it, check it out, and BANG.Poor baby geckos are going to starve without a food source.It is pretty disgusting seeing literally hundreds of flies flying around inside the bag, and then floating around in the muck.I am going to count them all once it's full, claim is 50,000 flies, I'll keep y'all posted!

It sure as heck got rid of the files, but boy these things smell like horse poop. When the find blows it about makes me want to gag/puke. So be sure to not put them by ANY windows lol.

Hung two bags towards the back of the back yard. It took a few days, but now it’s full of gnats and flies. Gave 4 stars because it’s really heavy once filled with water and I’m not sure how disposal is going to go.

These work very well but they stink like a dead animal...which is probably why they work so well. Easy to use and dispose of.

I was amazed at how many flies were in the bag after just a few hours!! The only downside is the smell but everything else was perfect. Just make sure to secure it well or it will drop and pop and I about died from the smell but that was completely user error! Ohh and do as instructed and put 20ft or more away from house/door/window due to smell.

These pictures are the second day I hung this up. The picture of the bottom of the bag is all the dead flies that sunk and that line of dead flies is about 1/2 an inch. The first pic is the top and all the flies waiting to sink. The ONLY downside is when you are right up on the bag HOLY MOLY it stinks. I think they put a dried out terd in there and when you add water look out. You only smell it a foot or two from the bag.

This product seems to be pretty effective and doesn’t have the foul odor that some of the other brands have.

I was scared to review before I got real results. But I'm proud to say that this trap works so good. Stinking , yes it does stink but I wld rather work with the stink than a hundred flies on my ceiling. I would however want to say that the bags are very delicate. I broke the first one trying to cut the top
