This can be used for so many reasons/ places, but I'll just review why I needed this and it was perfect: special needs daughter, needs to take seizure meds with ice cream twice a day. We love to travel in car with her on long road trips. Having this saves us time and worry when stopping in hotels or when getting to destination. This will freeze and keep ice cream frozen solid. When we check in, no running around to find stores selling ice cream she'll eat at night, or wondering if a hotel room even has a freezer in mini fridges. That's all we needed. It's not huge and actually serves as a small table in car or van, woth carry case that has vents, does not over heat. Plugs into cigarette outlets too

The media could not be loaded. I purchased the F40C4TMP Insulated Protective Cover for the Alpicool C9PT portable refrigerator. This refrigerator model does not have carry handles, so the insulated bag works as an insulator as well as a carry bag.The insulated bag is black with gray trim. The bag is well made with good workmanship and tight seams. The velcro used at the front pocket and at the flaps to hold the bag together is very strong. The velcro holds well and stays fastened until you losen it. The rear corner of the bag has a sturdy zipper for the ease of placing the refrigerator in the insulated bag. There are two mesh side panels for compressor ventilation and airflow.Access to the refrigerator's power cord input is accessible by opening the front velcro pocket. The power cord will drape from the pocket to your power source (AC outlet or 12/24-volt). The rear of the bag has a netted pocket that does not close.The rear and side velcro flaps need to be loosened so that you can access the refrigerator. There is a small clear panel on the top of the insulated bag that allows you to access the refrigerator's control panel. Two adjustable carrying straps can be affixed to each side of the bag. They are removable. The straps can be velcroed together for the ease of carrying the refrigerator.With the refrigerator in the insulated bag, the interior of the bag is cold to the touch. This test was performed indoors on an Autumn day.The bag is pricey but practical and functional. It's dual function as an insulated bag and a convenient carrying bag makes the purchase justifiable.

For anyone with the need for ice packs (or ice hats, in my case) on the go, this freezer is amazing. I can fit 4 bottles of water flat across the bottom (for size reference) plus 3 of my ice hats (for migraines) with room left over. Worked great in the truck, fit perfect in the middle of the back seat between 2 guys, and it was easy to carry. (Bonus USB port on top for charging my phone)

This material will keep your small fridge cooler especially in the sun, thus drain less energy if its plugged. It has extra pockets on each side and find them useful for my long cables that I use to power it. Love it, also makes it look nicer.

THe velcro flaps don't quite reach over the corners. It takes a lot of pulling to get good contact on the velcro closures.

Recently purchased this cover for the C9 and it works great!! It is a little tight, but you have to adjust it from the bottom to the top and it will close perfectly. At first I was disappointed that the cover cost more than a cooler, but after using it with the fridge and in several different environments I was impressed by the quality. It is a must for a fridge like this, conserves battery life!

Works great to assist in cooling.

We used it to store and ship on a 3 week roadtrip medication that had to be refrigerated at all times. We used it both in the car and in the hotels we stayed in. The freezing option worked great as well. We would use this when we had a room with a fridge to help refreeze our ice packs for our backpack cooler to keep drinks cold while using this mini fridge for the medication.
