They're great, but they can definitely hurt at times. My kids like this series of trains. They're cuter than many of the uglier trackmaster trains. Could have more durable connections.

My grandson loves all Thomas the Tank and Friends and this tank, Hiro, is a favorite. These tanks are great for my 2 1/2 yr old grandson as he can detach and reattach the tanks and train cars with ease and the hold up to his hours of playtime.
