The natural oil responsible for the buzzing tingle is from the Zanthoxylum americanum shrub, the common prickly ash. A cousin to sichuan pepper, and both are in the citrus family! (Yep, Szechuan is technically a citrus. Teeny-tiny little dried-out citrus with ANGER ISSUES lol). The buzzing tingle on the lips feels very similar to Szechuan pepper, - I've never had it on my lips before, for very long; it's pleasant, buzzing, and slightly numbing! I was skeptical of the wording, but now that I've tried it... I do like the word 'buzzing' as a description, rather than simply 'tingling'. 'Tingling' doesn't quite cover it! At first you do "freak out" like they advertise, because it's such a novel feeling! But... then you reach for it, again and again. When I get some on my tongue, it doesn't really do as much as it does on my lips, and it doesn't feel "spicy" in exactly the same way as Szechuan. TRY IT this stuff is so weird and so cool! Tomorrow I get my bubblegum flavor one, I can't wait! PS there is nothing in my botany experience that would suggest this stuff isn't safe. It's been used for thousands of years to treat toothaches and stuff. But, people can be allergic to literally anything. If you do well with Szechuan, you'll be fine.

I've tried 4 flavors: cherry, bubble, sin o mint, and coco The only one that didn't buzz for me was the bubblegum scented one which was disappointing but all the rest of them worked well :) the strongest one in my opinion is the atomic cherry flavor I love it!! Coco and sinomint aren't as strong as the cherry but are still very buzzing and enjoyable!

I have a terrible habit, constantly biting my lips. It’s subconscious I often don’t even know I’m doing it. For this reason I never wear lipstick. My lips are often dry because of this habit, making Chapstick necessary to carry on me. However, I usually end up messing it off by accident while biting my lips. So my sister suggested this brand and boy do I love it. It creates a sensation on your lips that feels like they’re buzzing or vibrating, tingling, even. Because of that, I don’t bite my lips when I’m using it , the sensation less quite a while, and the moisturizing is very effective.. think this is the only brand I’ll buy from now on. Seriously it’s fun as hell to use.

i didn’t feel much of a “buzz” but it’s a good quality lip balm. i’ve been looking for a bubblegum scented lip balm and came across this one. however, it tastes really gross. some inevitably gets in my mouth and it’s not pleasant.

I got this because chapstick is boring, so i got this. It is not boring. The tingling is such a nice feeling, it is not like hot sauce burning, more like atomic fireball, sweet and spicy. It lasts a lot longer than the chapstick does too. I only put it on a couple times a day so it has lasted way longer than what i am used to. Also i have got compliments on my lipstick color. It is subtle and a nice shade. Everyone is always surprised when i tell them it is just lip balm. I am going to get this again and try some of the others that they make.

I bought 2 different flavors. Each lip balm was packaged in a generic, plastic black bag The manufacturer box that they come in is half the fun. So I sent them back vs putting them in my families C-mas stockings. I wasn't about to put generic crappy items that you have no idea that it is.

Works just as I remember the only problem is I ordered the atomic cherry flavor but inside the tube is bubblegum flavored that is not the one I actually like overall I love this product and would buy it 100% again. I just don’t understand why the flavor is wrong

Bought this on a whim and I love it! Just a dab on each side of top lip and center of bottom then a clear gloss and it’s a nice plumping natural look. It gets tingling and my lips get so soft.

I admit it was the fabulous packaging that made me spend so much on yet more Natural lip-balms! (Ordered in UK) *Gives a sensation of your lips being against a mild electrical current; Bzzzz vibration. Took awhile to work on my aged adult lips but once it starts; OOF. & kind've bizarrely addictive. *Vivid tint, you only need a slick to give a bright colouring, 'Brazen Berry' description is apt. (My kids love the buzz effect & daub it on if they get chance; it's also available in non-tint - obviously better for kids, tho' they reckon my tinted version is much buzzier than their clear 1s) *I love that it's 100% natural; Lip products do get inadvertently consumed so always best to opt for non-toxic! ☠️ Personally I think I prefer the gentler minty buzz of my 'Burt's Bees Original', plus that's currently 3x cheaper in UK..

It smells nice but it definitely doesn't vibrate you lips, it's tingly like a lip plump but doesnt do what it says on the tin.

Really does make your lips buzz, feels great, leaves lips feeling smooth.
