This cable does the job! I use it for connecting my smartphone to my TV. You can tell it's made well just by feeling the braiding and connectors. It also eliminates the need for a pass-through adapter. The picture is phenomenal. I would recommend this again and again!

I tried connecting two different phones (Google Pixel and Galaxy S8) to both my computer and my tv with this cord. In neither instance did my phone or the device connected to the HDMI end of the cable show any semblance of recognition or connection between the devices.

The fit was good, the video came on but then after 2 minutes, samsung DeX came on and wanted to have the screen size changed to fit the image fully on the screen. It looked like I needed a mouse to click OK but it was on the TV and nothing made that image go away. The movie was already the full size. I tried to change the display from TV display picture mode but the image of a cell phone was still on the screen

Has a great picture with my projector, and seems to be pretty durable. I will say for my opinion that it's a little bit more on the money side of things, but I say that because it's just a decently long hdmi to USB-C connection cord. I'm sure theirs programing to be able to have the Samsung Dex ability, but I simply don't think it's worth about $15. I believe it's worth around $12 - $13. Again this is solely on my speculation and my opinion. Still worth the buy regardless.

Product flashed a setup screen then went to no signal recieved. Tried on several tv's with same result.Could not return in time to get a refund.
