If you are recovering Freon that isnt contaminated from a burn out then this filter works great in combination with a recovery machine to remove moister in otherwise good Freon. Even has status ring that informs you of the Freon quality.

Same ones that used in school
I think it was if it was good enough for school and as many times as those units got mixed refrigerant got charged torn down and rebuilt every 24 weeks and exposed to moisture I figured that's got to be a quality product lol it seems to be a little more expensive than I expected but I didn't shop around I was in a rush when I ordered it so I have no real reference
