It is very nice looking. The price point is perfect. It is silent to me; I have it in the bedroom. You will not be disappointed with this $10 clock. Simple, functional, handsome.

I really like the appearance of this clock. It has a vintage look and the appearance of real wood. It was very easy to hang using a pushpin. It requires a AA battery that is not included. It makes no noise and so far keeps accurate time. I got the gray and it looks weathered and goes well with my living room colors.

This clock lost a star because of the quality of the printed design. The image used likely had a low resolution (less than 300 dpi, which is necessary for printing properly). Up close, the grains and "slats" are a bit blurry. This is literally my only "complaint." It's less of a complaint, and more of a "slightly disappointed observation." From a few feet away, which is where you'd be looking at it from, it isn't nearly as obvious. The clock itself is very lightweight so doesn't need an achor for hanging. I used a small finishing nail. The numbers and hands are very easy to see and read, with the numbers having an additional white outline around them that keeps them from blending into the main background design. And it is absolutely silent! If it didn't have the seconds hand, I wouldn't know it was running (I have extremely sensitive hearing, even put my ear right up to the mechanics and still couldn't hear anything). When setting the clock, go forward with the minute and second hands (both move in that direction easily), but don't try to move the hour hand. This could damage the gears inside. The packaging was well done with styrofoam pieces supporting it, a semi-hard plastic casing over the hands to prevent damage, and inside a plastic bag to prevent it from being scratched during shipping. Overall, I definitely recommend this clock. The quality to cost ratio is perfect.
