Outstanding protection and performance!
Really simple to install, and rock solid connections. BE AWARE: When set for Litium Battery this device MUST be used with something like their BMS to disconnect the load. That point wasn't very clear to me in the instruction manual (a case of "reading into" on my part). When I researched the issue on their web site is was explained much more clearly there. I was able to run my LFP battery down to 11V when it was set to cut off at 12V. I was testing it manually and on purpose, so no damage was done. The battery charges just fine even with the load disconnect ciruit open. Was able to burst a 141Amp load through the device without issue (as measured by a BMV 700). This will be my Go-To product for any project requiring battery protection from here on out. Pros: Rock solid build that can physically hold up to the type of cables and connectors that will be used. Set and forget programming. Automatically allows battery to charge when load disconnect circuit is open. LVD can be controlled by other devices, and switch. Cons: Manual Rev08 27-03-2017 doesn't clearly let you know the load will NOT disconnect by itself in Lithium mode. Buzzer and Relay mode state clearly the load WILL be disconnected.

Just as described, but you need to know what you are doing
This product works exactly as advertised. You need to understand this device is to be put in a circuit with loads only. It is not to be used where a charge controller can charge the battery (reverse current). Some devices can produce something called back EMF and they should be avoided as well. Inverters come to mind. I use mine to energize a relay to turn off or on a boost converter. The boost converter 24v charges a solar generator or battery box. The voltage on/off was exactly as described in the manual They could do a better job in the manual describing what devices are allowed downstream.

Did I really need it?
Did I really need it? The batteries I have, have a built in protection but I figure better safe then sorry. Was easy to add to the system. Didn't cost all that much, seems to be functioning well and will hopefully extend my battery life.

BatteryProtect for a DC system
This is probably an item for an electrically advanced person to install. The instructions that came with it don't really explain how to program for for lithium batteries or for changing the cutoff level for low battery protection. It is kinda cute. Victron's video IS helpful, so look at it. There's a kinda strange way to hook it to ground as the two posts are both for positive going one direction only! Does it do it's job? Don't know yet. I'll see how it works.

Using as a solid state switch
I could not find a quality solid state switch that i trusted for remote use at my cabin. This fit the bill perfectly and i don't have to worry about it overheating and burning down the forest.

Easy, Simple protection!
Over-DISHARGE protection! Over-DISCHARGING is the easiest way of DAMAGING a Lithium battery! This is ULTRA-EASY to program! (or reprogram for other applications), functions as intended! Note: connect your charging Solar-controller circuit to your battery FIRST! , Then connect this.

You can count on it , it can save your batteries.
I purchased this unit a few years ago, and it's functioning great, as intended. very reliable.

Can’t be used with inverter circuits. Total waste.
Absolute junk. Does not work with inverters. What else would anyone need a battery disconnect rated for hundred of amps? Useless.
