Duncan Hines Classic Cake Mix, Butter Golden, 15.25 oz

These cake mixes are so moist, the taste is so good! Easy baking, great directions and the quality is superb!

I haven't actually made the cake following the instructions on the box. I bought this as an alternative to mug cake mixes, which in my opinion are overpriced and too caloric for my taste. It's so easy to make a mug cake with this mix. Take a good-sized microwave safe mug. Fill it maybe 1/3 to not quite half full. Too much mix and it will overflow the mug. Add 1-2 Tablespoons of water or milk, and stir well. Basically you want to add enough liquid so that it looks like cake batter. Microwave 1-2 minutes, depending on your microwave and how much cake mix and water you used. This mix makes an outstanding mug cake - warm, soft, and so delicious! The mug cake is actually lower calorie than the regular cake, as you don't need to add oil and eggs. Try it and see!

Can't go wrong with a boxed cake mix! It can be prepared as a cake by following the box directions or made into cookies by searching, 'cookies from box cake mix,' online. Duncan Hines is moint, light, and timeless! It is a very good yellow cake!

Very moist and great taste

Cake mix was fine, no problems with it baking up fine. The packaging chosen to ship it in, however....The box was quite battered- Surprized that the mix didn't leak out.

The lemon cake mix is delicious. I never bake and this was as easy as pie (or cake?😉). The only modifications I did to the mix was add a tablespoon of lemon peel and the juice of two small lemons. I put the lemon juice in my measuring cup first, and then measured the rest of the water as instructed. Nothing fancy, just mixed it, filled the pan and voila! Came out fluffy, spongy and delicious. As for flavor, It’s not overly sweet. I am glad I added the lemon juice. It went perfect with a lemon curd filling in between cake layers. This made enough for a 6 inch two tiered heart cake.

If you like or love lemon this is a tasty cake to make! It's a crowd pleaser for our family.

Delicious and delivered with care and no quality issues, I paired it with DH cream cheese frosting and topped with crushed oreo cookies. Yum.

So yummy but so expensive to get shipped to Canada

This was advertised as 3 boxes, which I needed for a cake I was making. Only one box was supplied and it was then too late to order from elsewhere. So I had to let a family member down. I got a partial refund for the two boxes that were not sent out, but this was no good under the circumstances. Orders should be sent out as advertised.

Tried to keep to recommended baking time but was not cooked. Baked longer n it turns out dry. Had a metallic taste too which I guess may be due to excessive baking soda.

uno piensa que estos pasteles de cajita por ser americanos el sabor puede llegar a ser muy estándar y artificial, pero me ha sorprendido, he comprado varios de esta marca y todos me han gustado pero particularmente el de fresa no creí que fuera estar tan delicioso como quedó. Salió muy esponjoso y el sabor es parecido a fresas con crema, es muy rico y no se siente artificial, les recomiendo modificar la receta que es lo que nosotros hicimos para mejorarlo aún mas y quede con mejor sabor y textura (agregar polvo para hornear, limón, un poco de vainilla, sustituir el agua por leche, etc). definitivamente vamos a hacer mas, no he comprado otras marcas de pasteles de fresa para comparar sabores pero este es buenísimo recomiendo esta marca.
