Great price on this package, same quality as a high end hardware store yet half the cost.

This was the correct replacement bulb. It arrived promptly and installation was easy.

Are they as good as the old GE MR-16 bulbs? No, but it seems all the major manufacturers have stopped making halogen and have moved on to LED only. The problem is a lot of the MR-16 fixtures were never designed to work with LEDs. ELV transformers especially used to need a minimum wattage on them or they would not work at all. with MLV transformers sometimes you get lucky and LED lights work, but if you have them on a dimmer or dimming system (like Lutron Radio Ra2 or Homeworks), it can not only damage the transformer, but the dimmer too. So while they may be off brand, these thing are a life saver for houses that still have them. By the way, the EPA ruling on incandescent bulbs has an exception for MR-16 bulbs so I hope more people continue to make these.

This item is a six-pak of identical MR16 halogen bulbs — five of them seem to work fine, and one was defective and did not work at all, despite correct installation. The application is a range hood — replacing the defective bulb with a non-defective one was successful. The defective one did not work in any socket. Amazon has no way to return a single bulb. Just plan on buying more if you actually need six.

The box only says MR16 12V 50W. No information on brightness, beam, spread, or color temperature. When your order arrives, make notes on the box. We can only hope that they're sending what we ordered. I prefer the Philips 415802 lamp.

Could not find this type of light bulb anywhere. The only ones available were for 12 volts. These are exactly what you need if you need bulbs that require 120 volts.

Good as OEM

Bought recently. The spectrum is not warm light, it's warm pink that does not work for my kitchen. Will replace.

These are great as for Halogen, but I am switching to LED. I have it on almost 24 hours for 11 months before they are out. So they last over 6000 hrs. But I am switching to LED because I like them on 24/7, it is getting hot.
