Steak Knives set of 6, Nano ID Ceramic Stake Knife Sharp Ceramic Knife Perfect Festival Present (black)

These knives do not hold their edge, I purchased these to use as pairing knives each one last about 2-3 weeks before their completely dull. China Junk!!

first set still cuts great and we use them all the time , so I finally ordered moreyes the tip will disappear, all of my knives are missing them ,, maybe this new set I will just stab them in a block of wood and get the tip gone before I eat it lolthey are easy to clean and the blade holds an edge ,, i do sharpen them with a standard sharpenernot sure if it does anything but they still cut great so it is not hurting

I used one knife out of the pack and I'm the only one who will be using them. The rest of my family prefers their steel steak knives. I do like how ceramic knives cut but have used this one many times now and it seems to be losing it's "edge" (no pun intended). Also very easily chipped.I have an older knife I purchased at Walmart a few years back and it's still going. I'm sorry I didn't buy more at the time then.

This is the second time I am buying a set.Very useful for daily kitchen cutting and chopping activities. 4" blade is just right for routine cutting activities. Well balanced, non-slip grip, cuts easily through root vegetables and chicken & fish (boneless) chunks.Need to be careful not to snap the blade by twisting it

Great knives, super sharp, easy to clean.I wish blade faced away from fingers when placing in blade guard.

Amazing how sharp they are and they have a great grip. Now some of my family members are buying them. I can’t believe the quality with such a low price. Love them

These knives are perfect for just about everything! They are surely not just for steak! They have become my go-to knives for most things, but do be careful about slicing into fruit with pits, and beware the steak bone. Ceramic knives are a bit more delicate in that regard and could chip if they encounter a hard pit. But trust me, they are sharper than any stainless steel knife I have owned, and you will love them! Some complain that they stain, but my secret: a little "Bar Keeper's Friend" cleanser will keep them perfectly white! (You can probably find Bar Keepers Friend at your supermarket, but if not, Home Depot sells it for like $1.50) The protective sheath for each knife makes them safe to store in your draw without cutting yourself. And fun fact: if you have never used a ceramic knife before, you will be happy to discover that your apples won't brown as they normally do after cutting in half with a stainless steel knife. Truth! It is the reaction between the stainless and the fruit that causes that to happen so quickly. Use your ceramic knife, and your apple will stay nice and white! I am in love with these knives, and the price for this set was great. You won't be disappointed.

Ok they do work but the instructions say don't use them on glass.....well we eat our meals off glass plates inclluding steaks. I don't know how important that is but we have not broken one yet. I know this type of knife is fairly fragile but if you follow care instructions you can have nice sharp knives for many years. I keep them in the cases they came in to protect them in the drawer and make sure they don't get damaged. They are very sharp indeed. I had a very expensive steak knife set that just went dull. You can hone serrated knives but the result will never be the same even with a whet stone so that is why I purchased these and the 4 star is because directions say do not use on glass....all of my food plates are glass. I wouldn't use them on paper plates or foam plates bevause they would cut through those. Used them 3 times now and love them. Be sure to hand wash and keep them in their covers.
