Because, a subjectively objective evaluation this designer logo item is pointless. No one who is considering a CK watch - or any of the competitive mall marketed designer label watches like Boss, Hilfiger, Kors, Armani, Lacoste, etc. - gives a damn about horological considerations and fundamentally, all of them are pretty much the same under the face plate whether they were produced under licensing agreement with Swatch, Movado, Fossil, E. Gluck or some Chinese watchmaker as distinguished from a Chinese contracted watch factory where ALL of them are actually thrown together. Most of these quartz powered watches are not substantially superior to a host of Ali Express offerings with unpronounceable names but as much as 75% less cost than the previously mentioned designer logo issues. For a prospective purchaser who is primarily interested in a designer endorsed accoutrement to be replaced by the next new thing, this watch will meet the desire. In fact, I only selected this one with the intent of gifting it to someone who fits that description. He'll love it and wear it with pride. That's five stars, reduced to four since CK and the Movado group went economy grade on the packaging. For personal preferences, I find it a little larger at 44mm than I generally would acquire for myself and with water resistance rated at 3 ATM and the absence of any lume it compares to dress watch categories more appropriately than sports or tool timepieces. Just know, while it looks marvelous, the chronograph appearance is an illusion as the pushers are functional but really control setting of the day/date rather than any stop watch features and as might be expected the underwhelming stainless steel hollow end links bracelet will rattle like you're auditioning for the role of the ghost of Christmas past in the revival of 'A Christmas Carol.'

Calvin Klein is not going to put his name on a cheap watch; that is the bottom line. That was proven true when I opened the box. First, the look is brilliant. My hands are large, and my wrist and forearms muscular: I need bigger watches that look good on a big wrist connected to a big hand! This watch meets those requirements. Second, the weight tells you before you even put it on that it is durable and sturdy. Third, it's a watch made by Movado. Movado watches are very nice and this watch is no exception. The crown is easy to work with. The bezel is fixed. I had to remove one link to fit it better, but that was easy. As for looks, I get compliments on this watch and I have to agree with everything they say. I have only gotten annoyed with this watch two times- the end of September and end of November, when I had to manually adjust the date of the watch past the 31st to the 1st. That will be the same for February, April, and June. This watch is undervalued in my opinion, and could easily be sold at or near the two hundred dollar mark. Overall I am very impressed with this watch from the CALVIN KLEIN Store and would both highly and strongly recommend it to my friends and family, and rate this watch a solid five stars!

Excellent. I've tested quite a few Calvin Klein watches recently and have found fault in them all, but this one is great through and through. I especially like the matching colours of the dial and bezel, which makes the watch look very clean and uncomplicated. This is almost always a good thing in a watch with several sub dials, as they can make the dial look a little busy. The quality of the watch is about what I'd expect from CK. I'm pretty sure these watches are made by Movado, which supplies several fashion houses with their watches, and this one feels around the same quality as the watches I have from Hugo Boss. I'd happily recommend this one to anyone. It's very well done.
