I use this as part of a telescope rig. I cover the light with a spot of red tape and use it to light a setting circle for a Dobsonian telescope. The flexible shaft is long enough to reach anywhere within about a 12" radius - far more adjustability than I actually need, but it will be able to adapt to future needs, no problem. Since this is placed at foot level, I greatly appreciate that the magnet is strong enough that I don't dislodge it by bumping with my feet. I can imagine many other uses for this - automotive repair, crafts, electronics, etc. This is the kind of light that you will find uses for.

Bought for fly tying but need to order a couple more. They work great. Magnet could be a bit stronger but for the price point they are great. My buddies bought a couple as soon as they saw me using mine

I bought this to use on my work bench and I like the bright light and the flexible arm. The only thing I would not choose again is the magnet around the light. It picks up unwanted metal filings or cuttings and of course they stick around the lens. Picking it off is a bit of a pain. Buy the one without the front magnet and it's fine. The base magnet is good and strong.

It’s useful I take it with me to attach to my tool box via magnet and don’t need electrical power just 3 batteries

For what it is, it way too heay, veeery expensive, and not very bendy
