Does this expansion increase the amount if max players

The game adds 2 more heroes, allowing 2 more players to join. The rules only require one more hero to win, and the beating monsters requirement stays the same.

Can you play with both expansions at once or would that mess with the game balance two much?

You can play with both expansions, but you'll need to modify the rules to help balance the game. When playing with both expansions, I'd recommend upping the party class victory condition to 9 heroes instead of the default 6, otherwise monster victories almost never happen.

how long is the gameplay? thanks

It depends because you can either play to get the 3 monsters and that can take about 20 minutes but if you are trying to get one of each class that can take longer since there is so many cards for sabotage. Hope this helps!
