This is a great piece of technology. Had a plumber install, well worth it. Never worry while away from home. If you've ever had water damage, buy it. Alerts and adjustments according to personal preferences and habits easy to program. Quality piece.

WAS HOPING THIS MOEN WATER MONITOR WOULD LAST LONGER THAN 6 MONTHS (MOEN IS USALLY A QUALITY PRODUCT, NOT SURE, BUT WIFI CONNECTION QUIT WORKING

Good moen product , app is a bit janky but idea of controlled water valve is good. Easy to install , power connector should be something than a loose barrel though, it’s the weak link of the system.

The installation was easy, although I'd recommend having a plumber do it. It required some modification of the waterline coming through our foundation. Since purchase (over a year ago) it has shut off our water several times when taps were left running, during a toilet valve failure, and a leak in the auto sprinkler system. It has also turned the water off in situations like running a power washer on the driveway. But it sends a message before shutting off the water, so you have time to stop it. And this gives you the comfort of knowing that it's doing its job. Highly recommended.

Brilliant device. Found out that our sailing clubhouse is running an average of 84psi with high's of up to 92psi. Also found out we have a small leak (still have not located). Excellent software and installation is pretty straightforward as long as you are comfortable cutting into watermain. Only downside of software is that only one email address can be added. Would be nice to be able to send to multiple emails instead. Don’t forget that you will need ac power nearby, an easy way to mount powerpack and some connections to hook up to your pipe work.
