Motorised Floorhead Nozzle Brush Tool Compatible With Vax 32V Blade Cordless Stick Vacuums

This is a great replacement and seems as good as the Vax original. NOTE: after use it seemed unable to pick up heavier items that remained on the floor - I thought it was the tool's fault but, in fact it was mine: I hadn't changed the filters for a long time! When I fitted a new cylindrical filter and the circular one (and also the long thin one at the bottom that protects the motor vent), hey presto it operated as new, amazing suction, all the tiny bits taken into the dust chamber. Also, with poor suction, the tubes are more easily blocked with hairs/dust further reducing the power to clear! Get those filters changed regularly to maintain efficiency.

Fits my Vax blade perfectly. Is easier to manoeuvre than the previous brush head I had and I can get it further under furniture. It's like having a new vacuum again.

I brought this as a replacement head for my vax. The quality of this part seems good. The head is a little stiff to fit but I rarely remove the head so not an issue. This head I'd say is better than the original head that came with the hoover. Let's start with the good points. The brush bar is way easier to clean that the previous, sometime I was worried about as it didn't seem to have as much brush to it, however things rarely get jammed in it. The head has a lot better lights on them than the original and though it looks larger this is only a benefit to me. However it does have some issues, it is hard to clean because you can't get inside the top of the hoover where all the dirt hits, the part isn't that durable as the rubber around the lighting on the front has started to come away. As an unoriginal part it doesn't actually lie flat to the floor because of the connecting part shape being tilted, when I use it I have to pull to the right at times to get it to lie flat to the floor otherwise I miss bits. Despite these issues, it cost less than the original and lasted longer so I just deal with it for the price but I would have liked to have known when I brought it.

Took a gamble on this as the head I wanted was out of stock/ prob discontinued with Vax. Mine is a blade 2 Max and it works perfectly. Very pleased it saved me from scrapping the vacuum and buying a new one 😀 arrived next day too. Perfect!

Just the same as the original

Quite poor quality. The brush bar spins a lot slower and does not beat the carpet fibres as much as the genuine part which means you spend longer cleaning. A grey piece of plastic underneath keeps falling down and snagging the floor when in use. The brush bar cannot be taken out for occasional cleaning making it harder to clean the head.
