I really respect all the authors credentials, and so bought this book after listening to an episode of 1,000 hours outside, which had me enthralled after understanding the uniqueness of challenges, specific to raising boys. This book gives me understanding into how I can adapt my style, to fulfil the needs of this, future generation . Great little snippets of encapsulated summaries of each chapter scattered throughout the pages “in a nutshell”

Love this book, it’s so well written and full of lots of helpful info. Every parent should have this.

I wish someone had mentioned how religious this book was. Even in the authors bio there's no mention of his faith playing such a key role in his work. As a spiritual person, I'm not against the references per se, but there are references to Christianity and emulating Jesus on every other page. So far I've read 40 pages because I can see that the book has some useful information but it's exhausting having such a small frame of reference for what a good man looks like. This book is great if you're a practising Christian. And feels somewhat dismissive if you're not.

Really annoyed as there was nothing in the synopsis about this being a Christian book. Nothing against it just think it should have been made clear.
