how long do the videos stay on the app for viewing if you don't buy The Arlo smart?

I don’t have a subscription to Arlo Secure for cloud storage of videos. They stay on the flash disk until you delete them or the disk gets full. It then overwrites the oldest. Viewing them from outside your home network is a nightmare. Arlo support is useless in solving the issue. They point you back to the documentation that’s says it should work. I had to get AT&T support to fix it. And now it’s broke again. While the camera hardware is good, I can’t recommend Arlo as a company to solve home security issues.

Can you use and control multiple floodlights around your house using the same app?

You can control multiple but these units won't record video without a subscription. You get a 2 month trial then can't record without paying more. Total opposite from other Arlo cameras we have.

Does it come with a hub? Do I need to buy one ?

The Pro 3 Floodlight does not come with a SmartHub. While a SmartHub provides some additional features, the Arlo Pro 3 Floodlight can be used directly with your existing Wi-Fi; a SmartHub or Base Station is not required.

Does the floodlight always turn on when motion is detected? You dont need the floodlight to work during daylight hours, but do need the camera to work

The floodlight is Dusk till Dawn, motion. You can adjust via the Arlo app at what point (how much daylight there is outside) the floodlight comes on. regardless however the floodlight it is still motion activated. IF so desired you can manually turn on the flood light remotely as well from the APP, without motion.....how long it stays on is adjustable from the APP as well I think the max is 3 minutes...though not sure....... The camera comes on all the time (24 hours) once motion is detected.....I hope that helps Cheers !!
