Thanks for your inquiry. Aquascape does not have a minimum temperature recommendation in the instructions. If u bought the product b4 in the squeeze bottle , this pouch is 2 refill that bottle .

Thanks for your question. Yes, the debris will eventually sink to the bottom and remain there until removal or digestion by your pond's microbial ecosystem.
