It has been a year now but, as I recall the O-ring and gasket came with it.

Q: Well this fit my 1972 johnson 2 horsepower. model number is 2r72m.

I am not sure. I ordered the pump for a much larger hp generator motor.

I don't think so. It is for an F 4B pump.
