Lucky Duck Lil' Critter Quiver Lure for Coyote, Bobcat, Predator Hunting Decoy

I put batteries in it and it worked great. The next set of batteries didn't work at all. What I discovered is the batteries have different lengths of positive points on them. The second set of batteries were too short and touched on the plastic housing in the battery compartment and wouldn't let the battery electrode touch the metal connection in the battery box. So I took a small screwdriver and pried the metal plate in the battery box out so that the battery electrodes would make contact with the battery box electrode. It has always work right ever since. Great decoy! Hope this helps others.

I ordered this for my son for Christmas and he loved it! It moves around really well and will definitely be fooling a few animals. He is tickled to death with it. The size is accurate for what it is needed for and it is super easy to use.

Cheaply made and jerky motion

This piece is great! I took it out coyote hunting, and within 30 minutes had 3 hawks flying overhead. The adjustable size is good for your location and placement of the product. It doesn't just spin, it works back and forth to display the true acts of a small critter. The only problem I've had is it not weighing enough, but I found that if you turn it on and throw some dirt on the base platform, it holds very well. I've ran mine for multiple hours with no problems. Ive even been out on some terribly windy days. Great product, and worth the investment.

It's not the best decoy I have ever seen it shakes alot and not tall enough if there is high grass I have used it for about a month and haven't had a coyote yet to respond to it not telling you not to buy it but just not what I expected out of it other than that fast shipping and we'll package good luck on your search

It never worked out of the box. I thought it was the switch, so I which would have been an easy fix. I removed the batteries and opened the case to check continuity at the switch. As soon as the case was opened I noticed the a bad solder joint, which I fixed. Checked the switch and reinstalled the batteries. Still didn't work. Once again took the batteries out, opened the case, put the batteries back in and fired the switch. Nothing. I ended up loosing the screws holding the motor to the frame and got action. But when I tightened the motor back down, no action. I decided to try it with the motor loosened but as I was putting it back together the other solder joint came off. I fixed that, put it back together and fired it up. It took less than 30 seconds for the motor to fall down into the unit. I trashed it.

For the price it is great. You can see from the pictures everything you need and get from the description how it will work. If you expect more then you are not being fair to the product. I place it in a clear location without high grass, and add some rocks around the base for stability. Doing this makes it stable and plenty visible. If you need one with more detail or a taller post then you have to spend more and search out other products. For me this is great.
