Best sleeping ear plus for small shallow ears! They block nearly all noise for a comfortable night's sleep. They are comfortable, I can sleep in them all night without pain from something being in my ears for 8+ hours, and I can side sleep as well. I've tried the same company's "sleep" ear plugs, but they are a little too narrow and don't block noise. These "super sleep" are the way to go!

The "Sleep" plugs are the only ones I can sleep in without discomfort/pain. I wish the decibel rating was higher but they work well. The only real issue I have with them is the flange on the outer end is too large for my ear when laying on my side, so I trim them down with scissors. These have helped me get MUCH more restful sleep, while still allowing me to hear my alarm.

I got these because I had run out of my usual earplugs and they were on sale. I like them a lot though- I love the contour shaped plugs since they're more comfortable for me (obviously everyone's milage will vary on comfort) and the short shape was more comfortable when sleeping on my side. But the sound blocking just wasn't enough - I live in an old building with no soundproof windows and a pretty loud street, so sound blocking is a big deal for me. So they're good, but could be better.

The Protechs "Sleep" earplugs are exceptionally small. I have exceptionally narrow ear canals - I have to buy extra-small earbud tips - but these were too small even for me. They didn't block sound well unless I pushed them *very* deep, and I think I did some minor damage by sleeping like that - I hope it's temporary.They're probably a good size for some kids, and *very* few adults. If you think you should try them because you have small ears, you're probably wrong. They're that small.

As with most products on Amazon, the quality has changed for the worse. These used to block sound and were my go to ear plugs. Now, the new batch doesn't block any noise. This is a false sense of security, especially when working around a construction site. As I see on their new product page for this, you can now choose a selection without an NRR. Well, that's probably the batch I received and wasn't warned of the difference. These probably aren't even officially tested for this NRR. Would never recommend these to anyone now as a professional safety manager.

These little guys really help block out the majority of the noise for daytime sleep. I’ve worked nights for over two years already. If I try and listen I can still hear the neighbors dog barking or my washing machine which can get noisy and just outside my open door, but it is easy to think about something else and then I really barely hear it. I like that these plugs are shorter than some other rounded plugs. This means that when I sleep on my side it doesn’t get squished between my ear and pillow which reduces other unwanted noise such as hearing my own pulse from the pressure and of course it reduces the discomfort of the pressure. Since they are shorter my ears feel more “natural” on the pillow as I am a side sleeper. Lastly, these are pretty darn soft. A few here and there in the package may be less soft than others (not a huge fan of some inconsistency in that) but once in the ear I quickly get used to it. Compared to some other ear plugs that may be less soft and generally longer than these, I’m more than happy to pay a few extra bucks for a more natural and comfortable sleep. I give 4 stars as I wish for softer and more noise cancelation, but it may not get better than this. So far, these are my go to 5-7 days/week.

I’ve wasted a whole lot of money over the last decade on ways to cancel sound for sleep. I’m an exceptionally light sleeper who requires white noise and ear plugs for any hope of sleep. For many years I used the soft, moldable type that are made for swimming. You create a seal on the ear rather than put them inside. They’re hands down the best for noise cancellation. However, they’re not made for sleeping/long hours of use because they make your ear canal sweat. That in itself is awful to wake up to (multiple times in the night) but it also makes them stop sticking/sealing- very frustrating in the middle of the night. I tried literally every other type I could find and nothing stayed in my ear and cancelled out the sound well enough so I dealt with the frustration year after year. Eventually I got desperate and bought a $400 gadget that’s similar to listening to music with earbuds but they’re made for sleep and play sleep sounds. It was an expensive piece of garbage that never worked right (requires internet connection and connecting to an app that rarely worked). I gave it one last shot of searching for a solution and found these. I had very little hope because of how many ear plugs were a complete waste of money for me. But behold....they are fat enough to stay put and cancel out enough noise (as long as my white noise is also on), and no waking up to wet/sweaty ear canals! I’ve been using them for 8 months now. You can reuse them over and over. I haven’t had to throw any away. I’m just now buying more because I’ve lost some. (I have two toddlers who get into everything). But I’m so relieved to have found something that fully works for my sleep issues...and you can’t beat the price!
