Nice METAL plate, ensure your CPU cooling.
I have built probably 200+ systems in my life and I know that incorrect tension and bad thermal paste can lead to bad cooling and even CPU failure. A good install and you can overclock or just know your system will run quiet and cool for years. The plastic backing plate provided with my CPU water cooler left me a bit nervous. So this plate was used rather than the plastic one and I am convinced the attachment pressure for each screw is not equal. Extra cost, yes. But peace of mind for performance builds.

A Perfect Fix for my 1151 AIO pump install
I used this for my first time on an Asus Z390-A Prime MB with a Corsair H115I Pro. The threaded bosses on this backplate fit flush with the front side of the motherboard as they should. This eliminates the need for shimming with plastic washers, and looks to offer a little more stiffness than AIO backplates I've dealt with. I definitely recommend this. Leave the plastic on it...

Perfect oem replacement but NOT plastic which is GREAT! A+++
Excellent! And all metal. My original backplate cracked when tightening the water cooler down and I wasn't pressing hard or tightening too much. I have an LGA 1151 Asus Phantom Gaming board and this worked perfectly. Not my new i7 9800K is nice and tight.

Perfect fir for 1151 socket!
I upgraded to a new CPU but the motherboard didn't have a back-plate or mount for my water block to mount to like my last mother board did. This worked perfect! Looks and feels like quality construction. One side has plastic to insulate/protect the mother board. This is perfect fit for Gigabyte Z370 Aorus Gaming 7 motherboard with 1151 (300 series) CPU socket.

Works fine with my Cooler Master Hyper 212 Evo
I have a CM Hyper 212 Evo from a previous build. Apparently, when I sold the motherboard from the previous build I forgot to keep the backplate. Anyway, I figured for $9 I would see if this backplate works with my CPU cooler and it does! Like a charm!

Good price, good replacement.
There was a little confusion for me in orientation but I quickly got it mounted properly. This was a replacement for the bracket that came with the Corsair H75 (legs were too long). This one works perfectly.
