As with most furniture these days, this item has to be assembled from absolute scratch, but the instructions are easy to follow and the parts are well-marked. Took me about an hour. With the LED light strips, and the color of the wood veneer (I ordered the dark brown), once it's assembled, this piece looks fantastic. You could hardly tell it wasn't purchased in a high-end furniture store. It's so roomy, too. It holds all of my various and sundry wine glasses AND alcohol in the underneath cabinet and it's fun to display your pretty unopened wine bottles in the top wine storage. Then, how cool is it to have a multi-color LED light with remote to play with, too?! I really like this piece. One of my favorite Amazon purchases from this past year.

I am stunned at the quality of this piece! It is nice and heavy and very well made!! I love the rustic wood look of it! I love that the wood pieces are not easily scratched! (like some cheap particle board) Every screw hole on every piece was exactly precise! There was none of that -missing screw hole or having to force a screw in! All of the screws are metal and very heavy duty, these are not tiny screws! There was no problem whatsoever assembling this. The instructions have pictures that are super easy to follow. The 2 different sized allen wrenches you'll need are provided. All you need is a philips head screwdriver for the back panel & door handles. (I prefer hand tightening screws on a piece like this over drilling them in) If you should run into a problem the instructions have every possible way to reach out to them on it: their website, their email, their Facebook page, their skype, their WeChat and their Twitter! Clearly they stand behind their product! This is a high quality piece and well worth the money! So very happy.

Fairly simple to put together but feels very sturdy and expensive! Still standing with 2 fat cats on top!

Bought this as a gift for my son and his new place. Great addition to his bar area!
