The UrayCoder provides great functionality. It is overall easy to setup and get going going. Getting the audio right if not embedded can be tricky but once set that is it. Video quality is good with no really complaints. The loop out feature for monitoring or distribution is a plus. If you want to a device to simply handle your encoding needs this is the device. The build quality is solid, clearly built to last. This is a workhorse and great value for money.

Great encoder, works perfectly I’m really happy with this encoder. The video quality is excellent, it’s easy to set up, and it supports all the protocols I need (RTMP, SRT, HLS, etc.). I have multiple of these encoders and have had no problems at all with any of them. They are very simple to setup and operate reliably on a consistent basis. Very useful for monitoring of remote productions, processes and locations such as lobbies, driveways and back docks. The SDI input makes integration into a professional environment a snap. Highly recommended and you cannot go wrong with any of the Uray products.

I bought 2 of these to stream our church services. I didn't want a software solution. This encoder works. So far it has been a good investment. It works well and the quality of the video is great.
