I love to discover interesting teas (Taos NM-based Tea-o-graphy is my current obsession) and when I find a blend I love, I share it with friends by putting a few ounces into this canister. Its cute design, with a tightly fitting inner lid with knob pull and outer cap reminds me of how tea merchants in Taiwan store their tea for sale. I also buy 8 Oz capacity canisters to store my own tea. Both do the job but it is important to use loose tea in a timely fashion. These are not absolutely NASA-grade airtight but will keep tea fresher longer and are recyclable metal rather than plastic. If you want more airtight, put press&seal saran wrap sticky side out over the bottom of inner lid, push into place firmly and completely then press wrap around the canister, that helps with longer-term freshness.

These little containers are very nice. I actually was trying to find a small container that was decorative enough to sit on a small table where I sit to keep my Tums in. (No curious little ones live here) On the downside I had to buy a set 6 instead of one so I have 5 spares. I’m very happy with my purchase however! These are beautiful, functional and airtight.

Out of the box, these tins are pretty. Not too thin nor too thick. Looks more rose gold in person than in pictures. Depending on tea type, these can fit 25g of large buds, 50g ball rolled oolongs, or 50g of small bud teas. Pictured is a Yunnan white jasmine tea.Imperfections can be found upon closer inspection:- Tiny dent on body of tins and outer lids- A scratch or two on a few tins- Rough black gashes on a few inner lids (these are more obvious)- Some inner lids fit tighter into the body of the tin than othersSo yeah, they're not perfect and quality control needs improvement. However, they will suffice and are a good value for personal home use ($3.33 each!). Can try to squeeze the body of tins to adjust inner lid tightness.If you have OCD or are planning to use these as part of a nice gift for someone, you may want to reconsider.

These tea tins work great! They keep the tea's aroma and freshness in with their double jar system. The only complaint I have is that Lawei doesn't sell them in larger sizes, as I have a few other teas in larger quantities and want to stick with the same company for the container.All in all, highly recommend it!

I ended up having to return these because they were just too small. I got them so I could store 25 tea sachets in a way that easily fit in my cabinet. I ended up getting the 12 oz size & that worked perfectly.

The media could not be loaded. I only needed acouple of these to use but a bit disappointed that some of them are dented as you see in the video didn’t wanna waste my time returning this but i guess it still works

I drink a lot of tea and needed some more tins. The tins are great quality, nice looking, at a decent price.
