This is beautiful!! So easy to assemble. Sturdy and secure to sit on for dressing. It looks so nice in our bathroom, and the natural wood grain is stunning.

I wanted a stool to keep in my walk in closet. I debated between the 18” and the 24”. Decided on the 24” as it wasn’t much more expensive. So glad I did. I won’t be using it in the shower. I feel this is extra sturdy, well made and a great value compared to other stools I have looked at. It was extremely well packaged and took us longer to unpack than it did to put the four pieces together with the included 8 screws. Everything lined up perfectly. I know I will have this for a very long time. It is so pretty I feel it should be put somewhere so everyone can see it. But, for now it has a special place in my closet.

The perfect shower stool! If you’re on the fence, just go for it! This robust little stool is the perfect all around size for the average person and it has a nice gentle curved seat for better comfort. I purchased this about 4 years ago and I haven’t had to re-screw in any of the screws and it still looks brand new. No mold issues, but I generally rinse and dry it after use so as to keep it nice. My cats like to sit on it too so I keep it out of the shower more often than not. I like this stool so much that I’m going to purchase another one.

I like the natural color; 28 inches is wide; it has a maximum weight tolerance of 250 lbs; that’s only two 125 lbs kids or one healthy person. Wish they had this stool at 24 inches. The slats are not evenly attached. Some gaps are twice the size of the others. These are minor flaws. I like that it doesn’t wobble and it’s sturdy. It has minor flaws. I’m keeping it; easy to assemble even though one screw hole was not aligned correctly.

Beautiful, super sturdy, and very well made. Very easy to put together. I could not be more pleased. The fact that this company helps employ women in developing countries is an added bonus. The quality of their work shines through. I highly recommend.

I haven't assembled it because we are taking it to our vacation home and will assemble there, but I unpacked it and inspected the four, unassembled components. The workmanship, fit, and finish are top quality. I was pleased to see that the slats in the seat and shelf had narrow (1/16-1/8-inch) gaps for water drainage, something I was not able to tell from the ad.. According to package inserts, it is manufactured in Indonesia. There are photos of the factory floor and the workers. The package is personally initialed by the person who inspected it at the factory. This piece was plainly made by people who take pride in their work and pay attention to detail. I recommend it without reservation. Update, 3/20/2018: I took this stool to our vacation home in Panama. Assembly was fairly easy. One set of holes didn't quite line up but by widening the hole slightly, with some effort, I was able to get it assembled.. We had it in our shower for 2 1/2 months. My wife used it daily when she shaved her legs. At the end of that time, after constant use in a wet environment in a tropical climate it was in perfect shape. Nothing had loosened or deteriorated in any way. The finish sheds water and continues to look new. I continue to recommend without reservation.

I bought this Teak bench in August 2023 for $189. While using it today I thought I should review since it’s been such a great addition to my new shower. While we were remodeling the bathroom, I told my contractor I needed a seat since we’re older. I thought my only choice would be the kind that attaches to the wall of the shower and can be folded up. My contractor suggested looking for a bench so you can move it around – great idea! After using everyday for two years and it still looks brand new! I do wipe it down if I’ve been seated and want to remove any soap residual. Highly recommended!

Lovely Teak Shower Bench. Easy to install and the grain of the wood/markings are lovely. Comfortable to sit on too, pleased with purchase.

Many other reviewers wrote it is assembled, but this is not the case. You have to do it yourself, took me about 10 min. and a child can do it without any help!!!! Its a great addition in my new walk-in shower and am very happy with it.

I LOVE this stool. I am not using it in the shower, but in my bedroom as a side chair. I will buy some teak oil to keep it from drying out. But it is lovely, smooth and natural looking. A nice piece to look at and very comfortable to sit on due to the lovely curve in the seat. Nicely made!

I absolutely love this stool! It is really nice looking, and really sturdy. I’ll be buying another one for my second shower.
