Well made and fits OEM connectors perfectly. I can confirm it is compatible with a 2024 Genesis GV60 in addition to the other models listed. It tucks in nicely behind the stock camera shroud too, making for a very seamless install. I used it with a Vantrue dash cam and they play nicely together. The mirror power comes on and off with the car and therefore so does the dash cam. It's a great solution for installing a dash cam without futzing around in the fuse box.

Works great, no need route cables from the fuse box or 12v adapter. Wish I knew about this before. Great support. I was missing the Micro USB adapter for my camera and they sent a ne for free.

Dongar adapters work great and are a lot easier to install than running a wire all the way to the fusees or a USB port.

Good fit for 2025 Telluride. Works with the dashcam. Does what it's supposed to do - offer a power source for a dashcam without having wires all over the car.

Did not fit my 2026 Ioniq 5. It seems like Hyundai must have made some changes to the plug. Bought it in early January, but it was just too cold to install the dash cam during the return window so I'm stuck with it now. Good idea in concept, but kind of expensive and now just a tiny paperweight. There doesn't seem to be an adapter that actually fits this new 2026 plug yet, so I'm going to have to run a wire after all.

Man where have these type of devices been. I have installed my fair share of car electronics, routing and hiding wires and tapping into power has always been a big Pain. Not with this, start to finish 10 mins. Went back and decided to take pics for this review. While this part is for Hyundai/Kia they have parts for other manufactures, though I believe if you have any 10 pin connection that the power mirror/garage door opener in the car plugs into I can not imagine much difference. But you should always get the one for the vehicle being used. This item is straight forward, PERIOD! Makes for a nice clean professional installation, no more hanging wires or screwing up door post or tearing dash pieces off or searching for the correct fuse in the panel. The price is well worth it knowing it is designed for exact fit, you may find cheaper plugs, but do you really want to risk the electronics of the car to save a few $$. Dongar has been around for many years and is highly trusted. Side note this plug dies not support 24 hour power nor does the power mirror or garage door openers built in. When the car is on it powers these items as well as the item(s) plunged into it. If you need 24 hour power for a camera for parked collision sensing you will need to go yo the fuse panel. And hope the battery is new enough to handle the drain when off, while only 5 watts or so it is enough to drain a battery. His many have left a interior light on over the years? So don't low star or rate this item because of what it will not do! Instead rate it for the time it will save you from wiring a dash can or radar detector with a professional touch.

It's simple and works exactly as described. You pop off the housing behind your mirror, and use this adapter to tap into the power to your electronic rear-view mirror. Then you mount your dashcam on the windshield nearby and plug it into this adapter. Presto! No dangling wires, no wasted USB sockets. Installation is a bit finnicky, through no fault of Dongar or the adapter. There just isn't much room inside the housing on the windshield, so you have to carefully stuff the Y connector and the wires back in without damaging anything. I managed to do this, but I hope the Hyundai service department isn't in a big hurry if they ever have to re-stuff it. IMPORTANT: This approach to powering a dashcam requires the EXACT adapter for your make and model and YEAR AND TRIM. If your mirror isn't auto-dimming, and/or doesn't include garage door buttons, or some other electronic feature, then it probably doesn't have POWER going to it, and this adapter will have no wiring to adapt to! And of course the specific adapter is matched to the wiring and connectors used by your brand of car, your model, year of manufacture, and quite possibly the trim level of your model. This review is for the 2023 Hyundai Tucson Limited, and the adapter was exactly right.

I saw this product recommended on a Youtube video to connect a dashcam to the hidden power connection in the mirror/camera assembly on the windscreen of a Kia EV6. This product works perfectly on my EV6 and removes any dangling wires across the dashboard and display screen. The price, however, does appear to be a bit high for just a couple of wires and connectors, but nevertheless it is a unique product.

Bin durch Zufall auf das Teil gestoßen und absolut zufrieden. Wenn man keine Lust hat um für die Stromquelle einer Dashcam extra ein Kabel im Auto zu verlegen geschweige einfach vom Innenspiegel herabhängen zu lassen, ist dies die perfekte Lösung. Die Installation war in 2 Minuten erledigt und funktioniert. Da in meinem Kia aus 2013 ein elektrischer Innenspiegel verbaut ist, was aber auch zwingend notwendig, ist dies eine perfekte Lösung. Der elektrische Innenspiegel funktioniert auch weiterhin was mir auch wichtig war. Das Teil wurde auch exakt zum angegebenen Liefertermin zugestellt.

Esto es ideal para eliminar el cable molesto de las dashcams sin embargo, si tu dashcam se conecta a una segunda, este cable no tiene el voltaje suficiente para alimentarla, en resumen solo sirve para una dashcam conectada y no para dos, cuidado con este detalle!!!!

Easy install. The installation video can be seen on YouTube. The trim kit just pops out and then allow you to connect this adapter for dash cam. They provided 3 different sets of short cables which is very nice. IMPORTANT: I see a one star review here that states its missing 2 pins. This is by design of the connector itself and not a defect. It powers the mirror and dashcam with no issue with 8 pins. The housing is 10 pins, but only 8 is functioning. Highly recommended
