Effortless RV Door Access with Durable Protection!
The Lippert Screen Assist RV Screen Door Push Bar (2021000090) is a fantastic upgrade for any RVer looking to simplify entry and protect their screen door! This adjustable crossbar, designed for 26" to 30" RV screen doors, is made of corrosion-resistant aluminum and plastic, ensuring durability through rain, sun, and heavy use. The full-width push handle makes exiting my RV a breeze, especially when carrying groceries or gear, eliminating the need to fumble with small latches or risk damaging the screen by kicking it open. On my Lippert screen door with a lever-style handle, the articulating function is a game-changer—just one push unlatches and opens the door smoothly, thanks to the included replacement lever handle.Installation was straightforward, taking under 15 minutes with the provided mounting hardware and clear instructions. I adjusted the bar to fit my 28" door, secured the brackets, and tested the operation—flawless! The push bar adds stability, reducing wear on the screen and latch, and feels sturdier than traditional handles. My only minor note is that the lever handle’s fit may require slight tweaking for non-Lippert doors, but it works perfectly as a fixed push bar on any style. Priced around $25–$35, it’s a cost-effective alternative to pricier RV door upgrades, offering comparable convenience to brands like Camco. For RVers seeking a safe, durable, and easy-to-use screen door solution, the Lippert Screen Assist is a must-have! Highly recommend!

Easy to install, works great.
This bar is awesome. Really easy to install, we use itbas a screen opener which is way better then just having the little handle. I love it.

Very Nice Upgrade
This was one of those "nice to have" purchases. Saw it on a "must have" video. I have to admit, we use it much more than I thought we would. Was very easy to install, good instructions provided. It makes using the screen door on our RV much easier-less likely to miss and put a hand through the screen. Easy to use an elbow to open the door when your hands are full. Happy we got it.

Good product butnhave had better
This resolves some problems where non rv people dont know what handle to use but if using only as a support bar there are better options.I had two of the screen door support bars on my old RV and we missed them greatly when we got our new RV. The new steps require the door open all the way to deploy them and the door has a magnet to hold it open. This makes something like this necessary to close the door without having to go down and up the steps holding the door. At the RV show many had these installed to open the screen when closed making it a handle. This felt flimsy to me so I decided to only attach to the screen door with 4 screws. It feels flimsy still and I have had issues with the self tapping screws stripping holes and falling out. Basically itbhas to tap 2 layers of the screen. One will make the hole for forst layer and then while tapping the second layer it strips the first. If you can get it in far enough it may grab the second layer but does not always and screws have come out the first week. There are also only 2 screws (1ea) holding each side of the platic handle to the middle metal piece. In other versions of the screen door bar there were 2 sets that held it steady.ProsNice aid to open/close screen door2 options to install as a latch or notHelps to get the door off the magnet to close it.ConsFeels flimsy and weak even as just a support barScrews holding to screen have come outIf I were to do this again I would get the onlder support bar only.
