Fabulous item - sound is good (not amazing) but acceptable for a small BT device & will connect via BT to an external speaker (we have a Bose one) & this improves the sound quality. Bought for a gift looks and sounds great .

Looks great but doesn’t sound it. Sustained vocals and instruments have a very noticeable warble form what sounds like wow and flutter. Returned as multiple albums were unlistenable.

Absolutely love this purchase. Bought it for my Fiancé and I think I use it more than her. Great sound quality and it looks fantastic, when its both open and closed.

To be honest it’s a nice looking compact way to listen to you records but I only chose this as a way to compromise with my wife to be able to keep my record collection. If you’re in to real sound and listening the way you should, don’t buy it; get a proper turntable and amplifier with speakers that will give you the experience you need. In all it’s nice to look at will keep the wife happy and keep you enjoying you vinyl collection but isn’t anyway near my old technics system. That’s life.

This was a gift for my teenage daughter, who wanted to be able to play some of our old vinyl. 30 years ago, you would be able to get a brilliant mid range record player quite cheaply. That market really does not exist anymore, so to get anything that produces great sound you really need to spend a lot of money. Unsurprisingly the sound quality is quite poor, but it does what is say on the tin. This model has Bluetooth in and out, which is why it’s a little more expensive than some other models. That said, it looks great, is nice and compact when not being used. In addition my daughter is getting great pleasure in learning about static and dust, level surfaces, and balancing the needle, - which was a right of passage for those of us of a certain age! If they could only put a better amplifier and speaker in it would be perfect. But then again, you can’t seem to get that in a tv without buying external kit, so I don’t think you can expect much more here.

Bought this for a year 12 film project my daughter did. Excellent retro look and worked perfectly. She loves it.

Definitely worried about this after reading other reviews. But it was returnable so I took a chance. I’m totally happy with this player! The sound is decent, the structure is sturdy and the design is excellent. Overall a decent player for the under $100 mark.
