This rod and heim joints we’re perfect as my caliper bracket that attached to my rigid Harley Davidson rigid Shovelhead frame chopper. Good quality and with the adjustments was able to mount it up exactly where I needed to go.

Perfect to extend my alternator away from water hoses
I purchased an alternator mounting kit that didn’t quite have a long enough heim rod to space the alternator far enough away from the water pump hoses. This longer rod was perfect for my needs and gives me the extra spacing so I don’t need to worry about the water hoses being worn through by the alternator vibration. My only complaint is that I couldn’t find one in polished aluminum to be a perfect match to the original rod, but this is very close.
