Cryptography and Network Security

This book does have many errors. But it's so well written, and is so easy to read! Mr. Fouruzan presents material in such a clear logical way, illustrates it so nicely - that I rate this book higher than many others on the same subject. It covers quite a lot. In some cases I wish the author'd go deeper, in some cases I wish the editor/author did a better check - but overall the help I get from this book and the ease of using it outweigh any weakness it may have.I recommend it to those who begin to study modern cryptography, and as a supplement to those experienced in the field but wishing to refresh mathematical foundations of crypto.

Old but excellent
