Ron Howard was true to the lore. The Grinch was a dark character looking to be loved. A child's heart knew that and despite all the misgivings saw through the mish mash and found it. Jim Carrey put on a masterful performance. He was absolutely fabulous. A really, really excellent adaptation of a children's book. They don't get much better than this. Although the love story was not in the original, it fit the retelling to a tee. This is how PG movies should be done.

Un classico, visto in tv sin da piccolo e finalmente in Blu-Ray. Rende decisamente molto meglio di quello trasmesso in tv! Da recuperare per chi non l'avesse mai visto, seppur a volte molto "infantile" per via del pubblico a cui è diretto riesce ancora tutt'oggi a strappare un sorriso anche ai più grandi e riesce ancora ad insegnare qualcosa! Consigliato.

Who doesn't love to see Jim Carey dressed up in green. I love this movie and I've seen it many times in the past but I wanted to own a copy so that I could watch it at Christmas time without waiting for the TV programming to schedule it. This movie is total family entertainment and Jim's depiction of the Grinch is nothing less than amazing. I don't know how he can make all those faces and sounds and body postures but it's very comical and it works completely. He makes a very believable Grinch character. All the makeup and costuming of the characters is exceptional, from the fancy hairdos, plump cheeks and tiny noses. The Grinch'es doc is very sweet and adds a great deal of charm. This is a movie you will watch over and over, every season, or maybe when you need to have a good smile :).

Petit bémol : le film peut être un peu compliqué à mettre en Français car il commence directement; on ne tombe pas sur le menu au départ. Il faut nous même se rendre dans le menu à l’aide de la télécommande du lecteur DVD et sélectionner français en langage
