Lumbar Support Pad Replacement for Herman Miller Classic Aeron Chair - Size B: Medium,Black

I found a classic Aeron at a local thrift store for $25 (SCORE), but it had seen better days. Aside from being filthy, this little football support as well as the pad at the front of the seat pan were shot. I disassembled the chair and gave it a thorough deep cleaning, lubrication, and replaced these parts while reassembling. It now looked and felt pretty much like a brand new chair. Turns out my chair find was a size B though and I'm a chunky monkey so it wasn't super comfy, I guess I have more of a size C booty, or maybe I'm just not an Aeron fan. I was able to sell it on though for a considerable profit, so I can't complain! Bottom line is this seems like a good replacement part at a fair price.

The part looks good and the chair feels better. The installation was easy and the part fit right into place. However, after about 45 days of use, the part keeps popping out of the mount. The retention mounts needs to be improved for better quality.

Provides a moderate level of adjustable lumbar support that is a good option on Amazon for the Aeron classic chairs. You slip the piece into the grooves on the side of the chair and adjust it to the height you prefer. The other reviews mentioned the lumbar pad was popping out under use. To mitigate this issue, lubricate and clean the grooves as well as the C hook of the lumbar pad to allow the hook to move freely, otherwise it will eventually pop out and cause damage to the sides.

The lumbar support's grips where it attaches to the back of the chair are not strong enough. It pops off when I lean back in the chair. I have had this product for 6 weeks. It was okay for the first week or so and has gotten progressively worse (weaker grip) since that time.

If you set this up on the higher side it will pop off. push it lower and it stays fine.

Product is OK but it sometimes pops out from the tracks so the fit is not good. When it stays in place it works well.

After two months of usage the connection points are bending and flying away when you sit. I bought this by thinking Amazon is the seller but it is not different from the ones cheap fakes

This worked for about a day, but since then it's been unusable as the clips don't hold it on to the rail. When I lean back it just pops off and falls on the floor.
