Silky Smooth!
Made in Japan, these scissors are expertly crafted for precise smooth cuts. They are of highest quality, and yet very economical—a rare combo these days. The scissor action is smooth and efficient, so the "feel" of the shear action is downright sublime. (I'm really into good tools!) They aren't long scissors but their beautiful straight cuts means the blade length won't really matter. Silky makes some of the best knife saw blade steel in the known world btw. And notice how it says that the coating on these are Silky technology. So if you purchase these scissors, you'll be wanting to say "Arigato gozaimasu" to me and this review for recommending them to you. And yes the plastic part is a purple color, which makes them even more unique imho.

Perfect non-stick scissors
Like these a lot once I finally received them. Great for cutting sticky craft pieces and don’t gum up! Really should be a 5 star except for the time it took to get them.
